Swine Flu is a viral disease caused by Swine influenza virus (which is of various types as H1N1, H1N2, H2N1, H3N1, H3N2, and H2N3). It is common amongst the pigs across the world. Normally it does not transmit humans. But if transmission does cause human flu, it is called zoonotic swine flu. People with regular exposure to pigs and poultry are at increased risk of zoonotic infection with influenza virus endemic in these animals.

Swine flu is transmitted from person to person by inhalation. The virus enters your body when you inhale contaminated droplets or transfer live virus from a contaminated surface to your eyes, nose or mouth. It is not transmitted by eating cooked pork products.

Swine flu signs and symptoms in humans are fever, cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, body aches, headache, chills, fatigue, diarrhea and vomiting. Swine flu symptoms develop about one to three days after you are exposed to the virus and continue for about seven days.

If a person becomes sick with swine flu, Herbal Treatment has a concrete solution to end to your worries. Below are listed various herbs that counters the disease:

1 Tulsi- the sacred herb, medicinal name Ocimum sanctum is gifted with a large number of therapeutic properties. One should have five duly washed leaves of Tulsi every day in the morning. It helps in strengthening the immune system by making throats and lungs clear.
2 A kadha (concoction) prepared from the herb Giloy (medicinal name Tinospora cordifolia) helps to rejuvenate immunity. Take a one-foot long branch of Giloi, add five to six leaves of Tulsi and boil in water for 15-20 minutes or long enough to allow the water to extract its properties. Add black pepper and sendha (salt used during religious fasts), rock or black salt, or Misri (crystalized sugar like lumps to make it sweet) according to taste. Let it cool a bit and drink this kadha (concoction) while still warm.

3. A teaspoon gel of Aloe vera (gwarpatha) with water daily helps in curing skin and joint pains.

4. One must take a glass of hot or lukewarm milk every night with a small measure of haldi (turmeric).

5. Take two pods of raw garlic first thing in the morning lukewarm water. It strengthens immunity.

6. A small piece of camphor (kapoor) approximately the size of a tablet should be taken once or twice a month. It can be swallowed with water by adults while children can take it along with mashed potatoes or banana because they will find it difficult to have it without any aides. Please remember camphor is not to be taken every day, but only once each season, or once a month.

Herbal medicines with antiviral activity can be used to prevent or reduce the effects of the viral infection. These medicines include Yashtimadhuk (Glycyrrhizaglabra), Tulsi, Bhumiamalaki (Phyllanthus niruri), Haridra, Daruharidra (Berberis aristata), Kutki (Picrorrhiza kurroa), Chitrak (Plumbago zeylanica) and Amalaki (Emblica officinalis). In the case of swine flu, the earlier these medicines are started, the better therapeutic effect.

Abstract Gallbladder stones, or gallstones, are hardened deposits that form due to an imbalance in bile composition. In Ayurveda, this condition is linked to an aggravation of Pitta dosha, which governs digestion and bile secretion. When Pitta becomes excessive and mixes with Kapha, it leads to the formation of gallstones. Fortunately, Ayurveda offers effective preventive measures through dietary changes, herbal remedies, and lifestyle management. 1. Maintain Balanced Diges
