Syllabus of SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination

Staff Selection Commission has been appointed by the central government to conduct examinations for non- technical departments in the government. One of the exams conducted by SSC is Graduate Level Examination. It is a tough exam and requires thorough preparation. Following is the syllabus for the exam:rnSSC Combined Graduate Level Preliminary exam: This exam is divided into various sections such as arithmetic, general intelligence and general awareness. Arithmetic includes subjects such as profit and loss, ration and proportion, average, interests, use of table and graphs, distance and time, mensuration etc. It deals with questions related to numbers and mathematics. The general intelligence paper of the combined graduate level prelims exam consists of both verbal and non-verbal tests. It includes questions on statement conclusion, coding and decoding, verbal and figure classification, decision making, analysis, judgment, visual memory, discrimination, spatial visualization etc. The General awareness section comprises of general knowledge questions. The question paper also consists of questions related to current happenings, your observation, India's relation with neighboring countries, etc. SSC Combined Graduate Level Mains exam: Clearing the combine graduate level preliminary exam would lead you to the mains exam which is all the more challenging. It consists of a vast syllabus that includes, communication and skill, english language, general intelligence and ability, general awareness, language comprehension, Hindi, arithmetic etc. There are two types of question papers for English language. One that comprises of the conventional English, i.e its general usage and other that includes English language comprehension i.e writing ability through questions like essay writing, letter writing etc. These both prelims and mains exam for combined and graduate level are followed by a personality test which also focuses on similar subjects. Once you clear all these rounds are are called for a personal interview which leads to the final recruitment for the post you applied for.
