Learning to take care of yourself is at the very core of your healing process. It’s a way to demonstrate self-love and respect of yourself.
No matter how busy you get, making time to care for yourself—mind, body, and spirit—is a must. Neglecting self-care can have negative effects on body, mind, and spirit, leaving us depleted and out of balance. For this reason, it is important to have self-care strategies that address each of these parts of ourselves.
The active use of self-care tools is essential for boosting your self-esteem, re-charging your energy levels and living a balanced life. Make sure you don’t over-look these simple, but powerful ways to create positive change!
Start today to take advantage of these wonderful self-care tips.

Pick your favourite from the list and implement it into your life on a daily basis.

Here are some simple ideas to get you started:

1. Put your legs up and watch the cartoons on T.V.

2. Go for a short gentle walk in the
bush.

3. Play water bombs with the children.

4. Stroke and cuddle your pet.

5. Read a novel for 30 minutes.

6. Hire a funny movie and don’t forget your popcorn.

7. Sit in your garden and look at the
flowers.

8. Put on your favourite music and lay down.

27. Have breakfast in bed.

28. Walk in the rain.

29. Write some poetry.
