Your feet are story-tellers. As a Reflexologist, I can tell so much about you by observing your feet for lines, creases, callouses and markings. Let’s discover some of this foot-chatter.
Are your feet cold? “Cold feet relate to fears or stress you are dealing with – financial, relationship, work stress, empty-nest syndrome. Sometimes your feet have an odour. That tells me you are under stress, and need to be gentler to your self.
Do you have a bunion? You probably have neck and shoulder, problems. Emotionally, buninoins say that you are self-effacing, overly accommodating, you come last! You say “yes” and offer your services before having thought about it? Try saying: “I need to check my schedule, and I’ll let you know.” It will give you time to think about it and give the other person time (and the idea) of looking for someone else.
Hammertoes tell me that you are essentially a dreamer, but you have forced yourself to keep a “good, firm head on your shoulders. You hold on to the earth for dear life as you force yourself to be a realist. Instead of a firm stance, your feet are out of balance, and you are a “push-over”. My suggestion: It is now time to follow some of your dreams, and watch your toes straighten!.
Is your second toe longer than your big toe? You enjoy good food! Perhaps you feel a head above others! Is your big toe overly large, you probably talk a lot. Is your big toe small? You may start many things, which you may not complete. Are there spaces between your toes? You need time to express your self.
Where are your callouses? On the big toe? Do you have neck pain or tension? On the corner of the heel? Do you have low back or hip conce
s? Is there a callous on the ball of your foot? How is your back?
Is there a curved line just under the ball of the foot on the big toe side? Notice the feet in the above picture. The lines at the base of the ball of the foot below the big toe are deep and I would ask about burping, heartburn, reflux, or other stomach concern.
Are there little lines or creases in the ball of the foot? Perhaps your parents, your co-workers, or you smoked. Or you have lived in a town that had “bad air quality”. Or maybe you have allergies, asthma, or chronic respiratory conce
s.
There are so many stories your feet can tell you and having listened, you have the opportunity to repair, change or accept certain things about your self, your health, your nature and behaviours. You will be amazed to see change occur in your feet as you change. The more you listen to your foot talk, the more you’ll know. The more you know, the better you’ll feel. That is the wonder of talking feet!
