About: Tarot Affirmations are positive statements using the Tarot, to center ourselves while energizing our Mojo! My goal is to help invigorate higher vibrations with creative visualization for self-awareness, while enhancing one's perspective, confidence, and productivity. Becoming part of the imagery is a necessity as it allows all senses to be encountered. Proclaiming and vocalizing your personal statement out-loud 'seals your agreement' with the Universe. Disciplined practitioners sense a significant change within seventy-two hours of repeating the oath. Inexperienced users must understand that it can take a little longer until you find your own rhythm to encounter the magic of will and assertion.
Meditation: Sit for a few minutes alone, with eyes closed and a goal to relax. Calm all thoughts and emotions until you are aware of the quietness that surrounds you. With slow and deep breaths, feel yourself float into this calm energy, feeling your body and mind also adjusting to this quietness. All the noise disappears and you feel at peace. Pay attention to the soundless spirit, as you cleanse and exist with silence.
Visualization: Today's card image may assist you in this meditative affirmation. Personally, I'm a very 'hand's-on' person, so along with this card, I'd like to share my own creative tools to produce a shift in energy, so for this practice, you may choose to have a mirror handy, some matches, three candles, with a pencil and scratch paper. A hand-size hand mirror is fine, if you can prop it up so that you can see yourself with the candles sitting in front of you. I also prefer that this particular exercise be done with the lights out, or at least in a darker room.
Light the first candle on your left (our first twinkling star), and as you gaze into the flame, think about how you see yourself in your world today. For one full minute (or longer), think about your daily schedule, your profession, your general attitude about life, and what you stand for. Choose three words that describe your personal strengths today and write them down.
Light the second candle (our second twinkling star), and gaze into this flame for a full minute (or longer), while you revisit your childhood. Who were you back then? What made you happy, what did you enjoy doing to entertain yourself? Choose three words that to describe what made you unique and different and write them down.
Light the third candle (our third twinkling star), gazing into the flame for another full minute (or longer), and think about your aspirations, your dreams and goals. Dream about where you would like to see yourself in three years... what would you like to enhance, and what you like to change.
Look at the six words that you have written down, and circle the three that you will need to reach your goals. These are your three key factors to rely on when you feel blocked or hopeless. You now realize that you already have what it takes to succeed. These three powerful gifts exist, and they are yours. As the woman in the image kneels to give back and replenish her resources, we too must give gratitude to the Universe (or your own belief system). Use one key factor per candle in the following phrase: 'Thank you for my _______.', and blow the candle out so that you blow your 'thanks' in your image in the mirror. Continue and repeat this for the other two key factors and candles. Then sit in the darkness quietly for a minute or two, allowing the energy to shift.
The Affirm: While being in-touch with yourself, announce your trusted affirmation:
My future is within my reach.
I believe my dreams are possible.
Thank you for my _______, _______, and _______. (Input your three powerful gifts).
Now go get your mantra on!

Simmering just below most people's awareness most of the time is an instinct for not making a mistake, not being wrong. It can be a quiet but steady unease that makes a person less comfortable in his own skin.

***The Talk: The Tennessee Expert
The lanky blond man bends to come in the door of the deposition room. I am there with my Stenograph set up ready to go. It's always best when an expert witness is the first to arrive: You can chitchat with him, put him at ease, find out what he is an expert in and how he talks, because you are responsible to write it down sensibly. I ask for his curriculum vitae (a resume of sorts). Here is a list single-spaced in small print of a page and a half of death-defying stunts: Evel Knievel he was--stuntman, fire jumper, demolition . . . and him barely thirty years old.

***Tarot Verbatim, A Short Cut to Your Spiritual Growth
You sense it. It's a program running in the background that you are about as conscious of as you are of your refrigerator running or your own breathing. But when you least expect it, spiritual reality intrudes and grabs the spotlight like a car accident intrudes upon a normal afte oon, often bequeathing you a new perspective. Or sometimes there is a quiet moment imbued with an ill-defined super-reality that you long to revisit. Maybe a deja-vu; maybe a breakthrough; or is it just one of those daydreams in which the colors of the scene around you seem altered?
