Glanced at yourself in the mirror of late? Not happy about what was stood there glaring back at you? More belly fat than you would like to admit? Well do not let yourself get too down, the cause is far from lost, there are many great ways to burn belly fat fast and here are a few of them:
1) Interval Training. This is a great way to workout, here is what you do. Get on a treadmill and after a couple of minutes warm-up do two minutes running at 90% effort then follow this with 1 minute at 50% effort. Keep doing this cycle over and over for at least twenty minutes. Not only is this going to dramatically increase your aerobic fitness, it will also give your metabolism a massive boost that will ensure your body keeps burning through those calories well after the workout has finished.
2) Lift weights. Work out with weight two or three times each week. The reason for that is that muscle tissue needs more calories to keep it functioning properly than fat tissue does. This actually means that the greater the amount of muscle you have the greater the number of calories you will use up even when you are resting. Ensure that you makes use of the major compound exercises namely: bench presses, squats, pull-ups and dead lifts; these will ramp up your metabolic rate for hours to come!
3) Walk. Simple yet effective a fast walk around the local park or area, home from the office, with the dog or perhaps an afte
oon out walking in the hills, these are all superb for burning through calories. They are ideal for people who are not fans of the gym or intense exercise and also double up as very relaxing activities where you can gather your thoughts a little.
4) Swim/row/run or in fact do anything exercise you like just make it a part of your routine. Whilst some types of exercise are naturally going to be more intense than others and burn through more calories the main point should be that you are at least doing some form of exercise. Swimming is great for people with joint problems as it avoids the jarring effect of other exercises as to is rowing.
5) Play sports. Get involved with a local sports team or club. In fact anything will suffice, try to rediscover your passion for a former hobby. Why not play some badminton, squash , volleyball in fact anything you like really. Becoming part of a team is highly motivating and can make exercise seem less like a chore a more like something you just do with your mates.
