Who would have ever thought that men would be so bright and smart that we have created a lot of these wonderful things around us? With this age of technology, one would not be caught carrying even one essential device, which is as a result of rapid technological developments.
The cellular phone you are using to make outgoing calls as well as receive calls, the music you are listening to right now with a tiny player just attached to your body, the 'personal' computer that you carry around anywhere you go. These are all products of technology. And it changes things forever.
Technology is said to be the consequence or the by-product of engineering and science. So maybe we can now call the engineers and scientists, the technologists. In this modern age, technology gadgets sprout just like mushrooms. Very fast, and always changing.
Just imagine how people totally depend on it. Like if you are going on a vacation, what things do you bring with you? These are mostly the common items in your back packs: a cell phone, digital camera, radio or MP3 player, a laptop or a tablet. All these tools make our travel a convenience.
A cell phone to receive and make important calls and messages, a camera for you take pictures of the new place, a music player to entertain you, and a laptop or tablet to continue your pending tasks even if you are on the road. So try imagining life without all these extra conveniences. It could have been a little too boring.
So we will not be surprised that by the next year or so, a compact version of all the gadgets mentioned above will be available in the market. Just one very useful device, to do all those things. So when do we stop, you ask? Never. As long as mankind still exists, we should still be able to pull off a few thousands more.
