• Take the first 30 minutes of every day to plan your day: Your most important time is the time you schedule to schedule time!
• Assign a time to important activities: Instead of wasting time on unproductive conversations, thoughts and actions create blocks of time for crucial tasks.
• Take 2 minutes before each call and task: Decide what result you want to attain before you begin and evaluate after completion of the task to determine what needs to be done next time.
• Know the difference between clock time and real time: If you are 40 years old you are 40 years old, but time flies when you are having fun or drags when you are having a root canal or doing your taxes. Real time is mental. You create it—you manage it.
• “Grow long, long arms:”> Stretching your arms out to either side, by elongating your fingers in each moment your arms stretch further. Notice that creating outer space has increased your sense of inner space and creates relaxation. Do this for 30 seconds whenever you are “time tight.”
• Change your beliefs around time: You can bend time literally by changing your beliefs—make it slower or speed up at your command.
