The big O- obstacles or opportunities........rnOh, I'm sorry did you think I was talking about something else? No, not today- maybe next year. Today, I want to ask you to ponder for a moment how you usually see life and how that impacts your experience of every day ecstacy.. So, the question is:rnAre you more aware of obstacles or opportunities? When you think about something you want to be, do, or have: do you go right to, "hmmm, I wonder how that might happen", or to "HOW is that possible"? Do you have a prove it to me first mindset, or a curious, can do mindset? Be honest- what's your default setting? There are no gold stars for the "right" answer. The only right answer is the honest one for you, because without non-judgmental awareness we stay in the same old unconscious cycles, or our judgment about ourselves keeps us in resistance to something new. So while you're thinking about that, let's look at a real life example of obstacles and opportunities. You probably remember reading about Captain "Sully" Sullenberger landing his crippled airplane in the Hudson River? He'd lost both engines to a flock of birds shortly after takeoff and was staring at all of the tall buildings in New York City, a bridge and a river below. But, no runway. He was offered a small airport several miles away and considered it, before realizing they'd almost certainly not reach it since they were already losing altitude. As he looked around, it became clear that in this sea of obstacles, the river was really an opportunity. He took it and saved the lives of everyone onboard. Now you might say, "sure, but that was an emergency , he did a great job, but he had to find a way, he had no other option." Well, don't we often have situations where we feel like we don't have any other options? And it doesn't necessarily cause us to move beyond seeing only the obstacles. We can get stuck in what won't work- sometimes for years. I've been there and done that. By focusing on obstacles we are saying "here are all of the things that I can't do". A focus on opportunities says," I don't know how that's possible, but if it were, how might it happen? Think about something specific that you'd really like to be, do, or have. Got it? Now when you look around, see the tall buildings of obstacles surrounding you. It's ok, don't be scared. Those obstacles are just framing the opportunities Now look again. Where is your river of opportunities?

For many, this is why exercise has always been more than fitness; it’s therapy through motion. But not all movement heals. Some styles exhaust, others distract. True healing often begins in the slow, intentional kind, the kind that lets the body lead and the mind follow.rnThat’s where precision-based training, such as re
