The Corridor Principal

Did you know that when you launch out on your goal or vision the moment you take your first step in that direction you are thrusting yourself into a corridor. A hallway with many doors, the funny thing is that you won’t see the doors till you get closer to them and only as you are walking.

Stepping out in life, exposing your dreams and desires at first is scary. We’ve all been there, fewer might admit it, but the risk of being exposed can make your heart pound faster than blinking your eyes 10 times fast.

The truth is that the difference between the successful and the not so successful is the ability to take the first step. The stepping out process, the risk of failing, the uncertainty of what the future holds dominates our thought processes to the point of halting any forward motion we want to make.

The corridor principal is the process of stepping out…as you begin to step out with no guarantee of success, doors of opportunity begin to open up for you that you would have never seen had you’ve not stepped out to begin with.

Many of us stay in the planning stage of change. When all the pieces fit we will do….. When I have the time I will ….. When we’ve paid down the bills, I will ….. When the kids are grown and out of school, then I will….
We wait for that perfect timing to show up, and then we will act. I want to break this to you gently…there is NO perfect time.

It’s like trying to plan on when a newly married couple will start their family. Something always comes up or gets in the way of the “Great Plan”

What happens is that we sit around waiting for the opportunities to come to us, waiting for that big break (whatever that might be). Praying for something to change, knowing that there has to be something better out there for you. Waiting for all the plants to line up and give you the sign you’re looking for.

It will never happen…It never has and never will.
The corridor is the hallway of your dreams, you have to put one foot in front of the other to get anywhere. You can choose to stay where you are or you can begin walking.

If you choose to walk, putting one foot in front of the other, slowly, surly and steadily you will begin to notice this new law taking over, the “Law of Attraction” and suddenly doors begin to open to you. You’ve never seen that door before because it took you stepping out and getting in the process of the corridor for it to come into view.
