The Dawn of the 10th Anniversary of iPhone

2017 is the year that Apple will be celebrating the 10^th anniversary of the original iPhone. Apple has been known to do major leaps in innovating its iconic phone. That is why the expectations for the 2017 iPhone has been very high. The tech community has been buzzing with rumors for the past months now. It is actually a good thing for Apple to generate rumors here and there since most of them have been about big – possibly good – changes on the phone. From a completely new design to wireless charging, Apple has been said to drop a bomb this September. There is also a rumor that Apple will be releasing three new iPhone's with two low-end versions and one high-end unit that will seriously keep you in awe but also will hurt your wallet. What’s in the New iPhone? The most important – and much awaited – spec of this year’s iPhone is its display. Apple has been reported to let go of its LCD screens and switch to an OLED one. Such move will really bring delight to the users for an OLED panel offers richer colors and improved viewing angles. The OLED panel will also be partnered with a higher resolution. An all-glass design can also be expected from the new iPhone. Apple has actually used a glass design before with its iPhone 4 and 4s but such phones suffered from cracks and hence, the glass design was not adopted from iPhone 5 on wards. Hopefully with the revert to the glass design, Apple has found a way to fix the iPhone's from cracking so easily. Otherwise, be prepared to visit your local repair shop to fix your iPhone's cracked glass. Where Is The Home Button? The second most buzzed rumor is the fact that Apple will be doing away with the Touch ID and physical Home button. These changes go hand in hand with the rumor that the iPhone display will be from one end of the phone to another. Most likely, the physical Home button will be replaced with a virtual one. There are conflicting reports about the Touch ID though. Some have said that the Touch ID will be available at the side part of the phone but most are convinced that the Touch ID will be replaced by a facial recognition technology. Get Ready For An Augmented Reality The new iPhone has also been rumored to boost AR capabilities since Apple has been trying its hand on augmented reality already. Reports have stated that the AR integration will most likely happen in the Camera app. If this turns out to be true, then the iPhone hardware will also be given a 3D camera sensor that is required in AR.
