IPL and laser two methods used to remove unwanted hair and the two are used to remove hair permanently. However, there are some differences between them and which can be summarized as follows:

IPL (Intense Pulsed Light), also called Photoderm, is a computerized machine. Just like a camera flash bulb, Photoderm also use a bright light. Its light is the very principle of the laser, and for that purpose to remove unwanted hair. However, still a lot of differences between the laser and the IPL because the IPL is gaining popularity day by day.

The biggest difference betwee
IPL and laser physics is in the composition of the unit. On the one hand, the laser light is coherent then IPL is not. This means that light waves can interfere IPL with each other and increase or decrease the power of the wave. The strength of the laser light is always the same. Laser light is monochromatic and then IPL is not collimated, which means that the wavelengths are of the same frequency and traveling in the same direction. Therefore, the physical composition of the lasers means that it is easy to treat a person with different hair colors, while the IPL can treat a wide variety of hair color. IPL has the power to penetrate to different depths in the skin because it has a multitude of wavelengths .. As the laser light is the same wavelength penetrates only to the same depth with each beam and must be changed for each color of hair, which can be annoying for people with various hair colors.

Because their wavelength, the efficiency is too different. Laser hair removal is limited to only the IPL again if not for removing facial hair or unwanted hair from any part of the body, but is also effective pigment face, hands and chests, and the sun burns the skin. IPL is also found in diffuse redness of the face or chest, which is not possible with a laser. Therefore, IPL is a wider use for the cosmetic industry.

Another significant difference betwee
IPL and laser is a pain to get. The pain varies from person to person, but the laser light, usually gives a little pain 'over the IPL. Lasers can provide a strong sense of strain. If your hair is dark you feel pain even more. IPL not usually feel less pain, but you still get a feeling very light pinch. This difference in pain is usually put down to its continued focus on the wavelength falls on the same spot on the skin for a long time.

IPL is effective in treating a wider range of skin types IV (1-5), while the laser treatment is only suitable for skin types I through IV (1-4). IPL treatments are considered faster than laser treatments, as "heads" IPL is eight times larger than the laser and therefore cover more area at once. IPL also causes less damage to surrounding skin than laser printers. It is more likely to be marked (although still rare) with a laser treatment with the IPL. In addition, the risk of skin pigmentation after use of the IPL is much less than laser printers.

It is worth talking to people who have gone through these methods to understand the process, cost, performance and pain. Only then can you run one of these methods.
