2010 marked 75 years of car designing and manufacturing for Jaguar, under new Indian ownership the great British manufacturer has showcased its talent by producing an all electric supercar capable of reaching 200mph. The Jaguar C-X75 is a concept by Jaguar it has batteries in the back that are charged by two mini jet turbines. Jaguar’s ground breaking technology means that it has produced a true supercar that emits only 29g/km of CO2. Jaguar design director Ian Callum said from a used Jaguar West Sussex dealership, "I'm really pleased we're able to put the C-X75 on display in such a prominent place in London for a short while. We're tremendously proud of this Jaguar concept car and what it stands for, so it's great to be able to bring it to our customers in the UK." The C-X75 made its first appearance at the Paris motor show, where it was the star attraction. It then appeared at the Los Angeles motor show where it was the show stopping display. It has been a while since Jaguar created a show stealing model. The British public have had the chance to get a glimpse of the concept supercar at the Jaguar Boutique in Knightsbridge. The multi award winning concept has been on display at the Jaguar boutique in Berkeley Square where Londoners, tourists and even celebrities have been stopping by to see the concept in flesh/metal. Less than a decade ago Jaguar was plummeting towards financial ruin under the ownership of Ford, with new investment from TATA motors the British company now has financial backing and stability to truly show what it is capable of. As a Jaguar enthusiast I am very happy for the company and look forward to more great British car manufacturing.
