The Foundation of a Successful Business

One of my all time favorite subjects to talk about and dive deep into is the topic of starting a business. We have entered the Age of Aquarius which represents the teacher (and the teacher within). There is truly no better time to start a business and be a leader in your industry than right now.
The new generation of entrepreneurs is one that is indicative of bringing about more positivity to the world by promoting services that ultimately bring prosperity to people's lives. It's about living a holistic lifestyle, one that cares for the whole being (mind, body, and spirit). By using your expertise and life lessons as a practical product or service that enriches the lives of others, you can become part of the new playing field as a small business owner.
When I first returned to my entrepreneurial spirit, I was fumbling. I had a lot of things I wanted to share with the world, however I didn't know where to start. The whole process seemed to overwhelm me, but after hiring a mentor and getting clear about what my gifts were (you have more than you could ever fathom), and how I could assist bringing about change in positive manner.
As a woman, I needed my business to satisfy me spiritually. I needed to feel "connected" to my services and to those I served. The foundation to a meaningful business is to be sure it satisfies you spiritually. Turning your gifts into a service and your story into a brand are two powerful ways to assure your business becomes your life purpose.
Here are three simple ways to get you started on creating the foundation to a meaningful business:
• Document Your Lessons: Splurge on pocket size pads of paper that you can take with you anywhere. In these notebooks you should write down anything you learned that day, what topics of conversations engage you the most, what article/book or blog post inspired you and why, and anything else that uplifts your spirits and speaks to your soul. From there you can create your services and learn how to inspire others with your teachings.
• Appreciate Hardships: When we are faced with hardships this is the cor fundamental to getting aligned with what really matters in life. Hardships pave the road to success because they innately bring us back to the sacred experience of life. The foundation of any business is about getting aligned with what truly matters to you; hardships yank you out of the noise and into the silence.
• Learn More by Reading: The more knowledge and creativity you can expose your minds to, unlocks the door to many of your blocked talents. It is also the way to reopen old doors that have been closed for a long time as well as inspire our highest purpose to shine through. Leaders are readers, and readers are leaders. To set the foundation to be a leader in your industry, you must acknowledge those who were there before you and appreciate their talent. Then you can create your business with a unique twist.

Setting the foundation to a meaningful business is one of my favorite components to helping others find their higher selves. The foundation to anything you do, whether it's training for a marathon, aspiring to do a 30 day yoga challenge, or simply to finish your degree, doing it with a purpose makes it more fun and well worth your efforts later in life. It is with this foundation that greatness is born. You are more fabulous than you ever imagined. Now it's time to turn your gifts into a meaningful business.
