THE FOURTH MENIFESTATION OF MAA DURGA (MAA KUSHMANDA)

Today is the fourth day of Ashwin mass and the Moon is in Swati Nakshatra. Today we worship the fourth manifestation of Maa Durga as Maa Kushmanda. Today all the devotees are in ‘Adahat chakra’. So pray maa Kushmanda with full enthusiasm and energy. Maa Kushmanda has created the whole universe in shape of an egg called “Anda” wth her lovely, elegant anddivine smile.

It is believed that when the universe was not in any existence Maa Kushmanda created the universe. Thus she is also known as Adiswarupa and Adishakti. She resides in the deep core of the magnificent Sun. She is the only one who has power, potential and calibre to stay there. Her body shines like the glowing Sun. All directions get light from Her divine smile including the Sun God itself. Maa Kushmanda also known as “Ashtabhuja” as she is often depicted as having eight arms. In her seven hands she holds Kamandalu, Bow, Arrow, Lotus, a Jar of Nectar, Discus, and Mace. In her eighth hand she holds a rosary capable of giving eight Siddhis and nine Niddhis. She rides a lion that represents “Dharma”. Worshiping Maa Kushmanda means ailments and sorrows and all the problems are eliminated from your life and your life span, name, strength and health will be improved. Also you can get rid of all disease, debts and fear. Recite the following mantra to please Maa Kushmanda-----

HOW TO WORSHIP MAA KUSHMANDA

• Offer bhagva vastra, rudraksha mala, and marigold flower to please Maa

• You can see the marvellous maa from inside your heart by offering dhawaja in temple.

• If you want to confece your crime which you have committed in your past life then mix honey and camphor in water and drink the water while reciting the mantra—

• It is very sacred to bring Ganga water and the water from two other rivers.

• Recite Duga Chalisa without any fail.

• Do not sleep in day time.

• Speak less and do not indulge in anger, violence and other physical need.

If you want to fulfil your wishes immediately, you should recite stuti mantra from morning till night. You will be blessed with child, foreign trip, any secret desire and promotion.

THINGS TO REMEMBER ON THE FOURTH DAY OF NAVRATRA

1. If you want to visit a Shakti peeth then you visit a Shakti peeth which should be placed in cave.

2. If you are feeding the girl child from the very first navratra you should feed four girl children give some dakshina and some jewellery to them.

3. Use more til in hawan with pure ghee.

4. Women should wear yellow clothes and dressed like a suhagin offer the samethings to Maa Kushmanda.

5. Men should also wear bhagwa or yellow clothes.

6. Read the fifth and sixth Durga Saptashati.

7. Recite Kungika strotra before reading Durga Saptashati.

8. Recite the following mantra for the accomplishment of any of your desire pending from a long time.

a. MAHAMANTRA– AEM HEENG CLEEN CHAMUNDAY VICHCHEY

b. MANTRA – OM JHOOMAEM KUSHMANDA DEVYA NAMAH

9. If you are performing hawan you should use swah after each mantra.

The fourth day of Navratra is the day of worshipping Mata Kushmanda, the fourth form of Goddess Durga. The universe is formed from the abdomen of Mata Kushmanda. Observing fast on this day removes all the diseases of the devotee. It can free the person from all the pains and receives extreme joy and happiness. Mata Kushmanda is offered Malpua as Bhog. Offering Malpua Bhog pleases the Goddess and she improves the intellect and decision making ability of the devotee.
