Nowadays, grooms are expected to take an active role in the wedding planning instead of leaving it up to the bride to accomplish most of the tasks. Besides, many of the wedding traditions are being supplanted by modern practices that point to the groom playing multiple roles rather than being confined to being the handsome groom with the deep pockets. With that being said, the groom must remember the following things to do before, during and after the wedding ceremony. Before the Wedding With the many things to do before the wedding day, it is only right to show your support for your bride-to-be by providing assistance in almost everything. You have to jointly decide on the wedding theme, venue, décor, invitations, favors, cake, guest list and attire, to name a few things that make for good weddings. We suggest keeping a list of to-do things with your bride as well as keeping to a schedule. There are certain things, however, that must not be on your to-do list. First, you cannot fight tooth and nail with the bride about every single thing regarding the wedding. Second, you must not sow resentment among the parties involved. Be the peacekeeper, if it is necessary. Then, you must also do the things that grooms are expected to do on their own with little to no help from the bride. These things include: -Choosing your best man and groomsmen -Going for fittings of your tuxedo -Getting into good physical shape -Practicing your wedding speech -Being mentally ready for the wedding day Inasmuch as your bride is getting ready to be married, you must also return the favor. It will strengthen your relationship when you can show her just how committed you are to her and to the coming marriage by being involved in the wedding planning. During the Big Day On the eve of the big day, get sufficient sleep - no hangovers, please. In the morning, you must eat a healthy breakfast, go for a few minutes of exercise to calm down the nerves and call the bride to tell her how happy you are with the coming marriage. A few hours before the wedding hour, take a good shower, spruce yourself up and put on the tuxedo. You must also check that the rings are with the best man ready for the exchange of rings later on. The ring bearer may only be using replicas of the rings just to be on the safe side. You should also arrive at least 30 minutes before the wedding ceremony is scheduled to start. Usually, the groomsmen and ushers will help the guests to their seats while you talk for a few minutes with the Melbou e Marriage Celebrant judge, priest or rabbi. Of course, you have to do as practiced during the rehearsal dinner. Say "I do" sincerely and kiss your wife passionately. After the Melbou e Wedding Ceremony When the wedding ceremony is over, you can breathe a sigh of relief as the hard part where weddings are conce ed is over. Your reception provides for more casual atmosphere where fun with the guests is on the agenda. Now, you can give your wedding speech, sway with your wife to the first dance and generally just have fun with family and friends. That is how you become a happy groom.
