Are you highly sensitive? And I don't mean when you actually get hurt or when something traumatic happens to you.
I'm talking about being highly sensitive when it's not really necessary. Like when someone says something mean or rude to you. Do you get all emotional and break down right on the spot? That would be overly sensitive.
Or when someone does something to you on accident and it causes you to buckle over with feelings of extreme sadness or loneliness or even depression.
That's being highly sensitive. So let's work on fixing that for you.
First of all you have to know why your highly sensitive in the first place. It has something to do with something that happened to you in the past. What. I don't know but you do.
And the only way to get past it is to realize that you can't change the past. All you can do is be determined to be better now and in the future.
Allowing the past to control your present is a waste of your personal power. God created you more powerful than you might think.
He put you here with everything you'd ever need. All you have to do is search His word to know where it's at.
Second, you have to build yourself up internally. Start by reading self-help books like the Bible for instance. The Bible is full of self-loving scriptures that will have you overflowing with love if and acceptance for yourself and others.
There's lot of books you can read to start the process of building yourself up. Heck, that's how I started. I started by feeding my mind daily with motivation and inspiration and it changed the entire course of my life.
And lastly, get a journal and start getting all your depressing and condemning thoughts out of your head. If you leave them there they will just continue to eat away at you from the inside out.
Allowing those negative thoughts to continuously circulate in your mind is unhealthy for your entire world.
Being highly sensitive also has to do with what you tell yourself about any given situation. That's why it's vitally important to feed your mind daily with the good stuff that way you have to ammunition you need when the battle starts.
Don't wait until your all in and feeling the negative emotions before you take action. Do it before the attack and you'll be less effected by the situation.
The least amount of damage each episode does to you personally the better. Less time down equals less time in recovery. It's a win win.

Quit Inflicting “BUT” on Yourself!
While I was waiting for my dance class to start, I watched an instructor patiently coach a couple through what was obviously one of their first lessons. The instructor was having them do a “box step,” which is what it sounds like. A “box” made with your feet. It consists of two parts, a forward half box and a backward half box. Each half box has three steps: a step forward or backward, a step to the side, and a step to close the feet together. The instructor was counting out
