The word "Hunt" can conjure up different feelings for different people. For some the word has a somewhat negative tone, wherein the word hunt is associated with the word "kill". For others, it is a word that brings about feelings of excitement, as there can be a surge of adrenaline that goes along with the hunt. 1. SOLUTIONS: Every product or service that your company sells is ANSWER TO A PROBLEM, the fulfillment of a needrn2. You are not selling it is a transportation, entertainment and fitness solutionrn3. wherein the word hunt is associated with the word "kill"rn4. sales teamwork comes into playrn5. IT is SOLUTIONrn6. you have solution – the right solutionrn7. influencer can convince you that you need a product or servicern8. salesperson engages you in conversationrn9. you are overwhelmed with the urge to follow the salesperson and get that phone, or something close to itrn10. They suggest anything, but only pointed out that they have this particular item with the really cool sounding name and features In the world of sales, there are those would be considered the naturals – the ones that can look at a product and name the top demographics for it without looking at a single chart. They will know exactly which points to hit in the marketing campaign. They have they will stalk it mercilessly and know what it takes to get to the point of the kill. There also exist two other groups: those who FIND SOLUTIONS and those who are the INFLUENCERS. They may have the same savvy as the hunter but not the killer instincts. The hunter may be able to generate the leads, but he may not be able to actually close the deal. Again, this is where sales teamwork comes into play. SOLUTIONS: Every product or service that your company sells is the ANSWER TO A PROBLEM, the fulfillment of a need – even if o the surface it looks like it's purely frivolous. You are not selling dustpans ad brooms; you are selling home maintenance solutions. You are not selling a bicycle; it is a transportation, entertainment and fitness solution. No Matter what you are selling, no matter what the client might be interested in buying, it is not just a product or service. IT IS A SOLUTION. You are no longer just a salesperson, YOU ARE A PROBLEM SOLVER. With any problem, you can solve it because you have the solution – the right solution. INFLUENCERS: An influencer can convince you that you need a product or service, even if you are dead set against it. You have seen them working their magic. You walk into the local wireless store to get a phone. While you are there, the salesperson sidles up to you and engages you in conversation. Instead of suggestions about what kind of phone you should get, they show you what kind they have themselves and tell you how much they love it. They wander away, and suddenly you are overwhelmed with the urge to follow the salesperson and get that phone, or something close to it. They did not say the phone was actually right for you. They did not actually suggest anything, but only pointed out that they have this particular item with the really cool sounding name and features. You must now have this phone. Of all the sales types, it might be hardest to resist an influencer, especially if you are a go-with-the-crowd kind of person. As an influencer, you never hard to exert a lot of effort or pressure on your potential clients. Rather, THEY ARE DRAWN TO YOU as if by instinct.
