For starters, keeping an existing customer happy is a lot cheaper than trying to attract new ones. It may look daunting and expensive to implement CRM, but the benefits are numerous. With a customer database, each customer’s needs are effectively and easily identified. It also identifies the lucrative customers in your database, reminding the more profitable ones to come back and visit more often. With a more personal approach, the satisfaction among your existing clientele is increased and more customers are retained. What does this mean? You become recognized as a reputed pillar in the industry. Given today’s retail environment, it’s important to stay on top of your customer’s demands. Once you’re able to effectively look after your existing clientele, only then should you focus acquiring new leads.
