At present, a variety of causes threat our living surrounding, like waste gas from car, construction dust, living garbage and industry mist and dust and so on, and a series of population to harm and attach to skin, to produce the oxide, so skin become dull, dry and lack of vitality; and the situation under the air conditioning, the air is not fresh, skin in the state of water scarcity, day after day, the physiological functions of skin is harassed.
At the same time, skin's melanin precipitation is caused by the harmful ray in the sun, as well as destroys the elasticity, make skin aging premature. Additionally, large working pressure, diet unbalance, lack of exercise, and always stay in night to cause sleep insufficient, with losing weight by using the wrong ways, these factors simultaneously have an effect on skin, let skin to being tiredness, finally bring about metabolic disorder.
It should not blame gene for aging facial skin. Learn from the latest research about twins, a series of skin problems like wrinkle including brown speckle, angioma are related to exposure under the sun, addict in smoking and obesity.
Elma D. Baron who a professor in Case Western Reserve School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio of America together with his studying group, declares the result in the Archives of Dermatology, because twins share gene that almost the same, however the influence of surroundings factor may be different, so study the twins may "opportunity to control for genetic susceptibility".
The researchers discover after analysis the environmental factor for 65 pairs of twins' skin destroyed, for skin aging, the proportion of environment and the lifestyle account for more than genetic factor.
But on the study of skin cancer, researchers claim that their discovery is the same as previous studies, they consider that the risk of getting skin cancer is affected by environmental factor and genetic factor.
Total 65 pairs of twins, at the age of 18 to 77, Baron together with his research group investigate their condition of facial skin. Mostly of these twins live in the northern and eastern regions of the U.S. who participate in the "twins' festival" that held in Ohio in Aug, 2002. In this study, each pair of twins also introduces their records of their weight, suffer from the skin cancer, smoking, drinking and the case of sunbu
or suntan under the condition without spreading the sunscreen. Besides three pairs of twins can not tell from the specific types, and in residue twins, 52 pairs belong to frate
al twins and 10 pairs are from monozygotic cells. The genes of monozygotic twins are completely the same, but frate
al twins only half of total number genes are the same.
They discover by analyzing the data, prove the study that gene is not caused skin aging, but facial skin is damaged by environment, is likely to be affected by smoking, age increasing and obesity. Compared to such a situation, damage of the facial skin that used sunscreen and usually drinking is smaller. Baron and his colleagues claim, currently the research mainly stress on the association between skin aging and avoidable surrounding factor, such as obesity, in the sun with long time without spreading the sunscreen, smoking, it means that we can prevent the incidence of aging skin.
In fact, if there is not enough water in skin which also brings about skin troubles, the consequence has no method can make up. If you ignore water on the skin, the skin will weaken the original ability of locking water. Gradually, skin turns to chronic dry skin, apart from that, dry skin is the major source of 'aging' for skin, and causes a lot of bothered skin problems.
