What kind of mindset do you possess towards learning? I guess what you need is motivation to discover new things. However, you also should have certain qualities that will help you constantly driven to learn. Truly Rich Club states that: 1. Have a Teachable Mind Be open-minded for a closed mind slows down your thinking process. Don’t ever commit the mistake of not improving yourself only because you failed to discover new things which could help you in life. Oprah Winfrey always encourages women to take advantage of every opportunity to live their dreams and learn new things. Develop yourselfrnYou have to always focus on developing yourself. Achieve and think that every day you can be a much better you. If you see yourself in the past, let say 5 years ago, do you think you are far off better now? Think five years from now, how might you be by then? Learning is a lot more than merely obtaining new knowledge and awareness; it is also something to get rid of the old learning which has outlived its significance. May I quote Mark Twain as he says, “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” 3. Willfully Lea In each and every experience, take time to evaluate what you have learned. Turn it into a habit of employing it the following day. Do not forget the student in you. Always be aware of every learning moments, surround yourself with those who can share experiences you can learn with, gain insights of intellectual people. 4. Plan your Growth Try to make a plan for your growth. Schedule the things you want to experience, that you know, will help you expand your knowledge and will foster intellectual stimulation. A well-planned, upright attitude is what keeps us from failing. Accomplishing something fuels a productive and strong growth process. In a competition, tend not to focus on the victories rather give importance on the everyday techniques you sharpened yourself with, the mastery of the performance. It will help you embrace defeat and make errors work for you. There are countless opportunity to explore, unlimited possibilities out there. However, it remains still that you will feel more fulfilled and accomplished if you have truly completed the learning process. Everyone must be responsible in pruning away the distractions that stop us from concentrating on learning new things and to allow sufficient branching out to fire up our spirit.
