With the help of the Silva customer support team we have collected the most frequently asked questions of those practicing Silva Mind Control meditations. Please read them below together with our answers. We hope they will make your meditation more easy and effective. Falling asleep during meditation If you fall asleep while meditating, it’s most likely because you are meditating in the end of the day when you are tired and sleepy. Try to change the time of day when you practice meditation. For example, try meditating in the morning after taking a shower. In addition, please do not meditate right after having a meal. Also, using a different pose during your meditation may help. The pose should be comfortable enough, but not too comfortable to fall asleep in. Try sitting on a sofa or on the carpet, but not lying in your bed. Cross your legs or sit in a lotus position if your body is flexible enough. Distracting thoughts while meditatiing Don’t worry about that. Almost everyone who meditates gets distracting thoughts or experience wandering minds. Your mind is a real busy-body with many thoughts going through it at any given moment. When you notice your mind wandering, simply bring it back. Just imagine your thoughts are clouds in the sky that get further and further from you. How often and for how long should I meditate? It depends on your health, time and personality. Five minute meditations are good, ten minutes are better and fifteen to thirty minute meditation sessions are fantastic! If you are feeling ill, under the weather, or stressed, we recommend you meditate at least fifteen minutes three times a day. How do I know I am functioning at the Alpha Brain Frequency? You will understand you have reached the Alpha level if your eyes are closed, your body is relaxed, your thought process is internal and active, you remain conscious of your experience, and the external environment goes somewhat unnoticed. How soon can I expect to see the results from meditating? Everybody is different, and has different needs. If you are one of those people with a Type A personality, you will probably see results immediately. You can expect to notice a change for the better regardless of what type of person you are within a very short period of time. And remember that huge changes typically do not happen overnight, so be patient with yourself and persistent in your meditation practice. The results will undoubtedly appear so just keep that in mind as you continue your meditation journey.
