The manner in which it has been designed does not allow for too much of rest or for a sedentary kind of a lifestyle. In case such an inactive regime is maintained each and every day, then there is likelihood that the physique will respond in a way that is undesirable to any of us. What happens thereby is that various sorts of health problems begin to occur. Different kinds of conditions such as obesity, arthritis and so on erupt. Cardiac problems and other such forms of illnesses start to erupt in the varied mechanisms and systematic process of the body. As a result, there is much hindrance caused to the way in which the body functions. All of this in turn creates a lot of discomfort not just physically but also leads to mental setbacks. This further creates psychological problems and the anatomy is accordingly affected, again starting the whole cycle. It needs to be understood that the body and mind are both interrelated. For one to be balanced, the other too needs to be in a healthy state. Any disturbance is one is likely to affect the other.

Owing to all such factors, it is of deep significance that we have at least a couple of hours for the purpose of providing our physical structure with adequate amount of exercise that it needs. Walks, jogs, light stretches and practices such as yoga and so are very beneficial. With all of this, our diet too will become healthier as greater consciousness about fitness conditions begin to arise in the person. Eating right and acting right will keep you in good shape.
