Mysteries of New Jerusalem

Just about every religion on earth acknowledges the mysterious existence of the unseen spirit world. Throughout the ages humanity has always been fascinated and drawn into the unexplained-or inadequately explained-secrets and mysteries of this world. Throughout the ages the emphasis of the spirit world has always been that of the darker side. The focus lies on the great evil that apposes our belief systems and ultimately threatens the existence of humanity. The truth of the matter is that light will always rule over darkness, and sovereignty of the spirit and unseen world belongs to God Himself. Therefore if we study or try to apprehend the mysteries of the spiritual world our focus and energy must totally be on God.

Lets try to apprehend the mysteries of the New Jerusalem.

The key to the secrets of the New Jerusalem lies in the very foundation of the word.
Jerusalem- yeru?sha?laim yeru?sha?layimyer-oo-
A dual (in allusion to its two main hills) shaw-lah'-im, yer-oo-shaw-lah'-yim

Also Salem, Ariel, Jebus, - The city of God
This name is in the original in the dual form, and means "possession of peace," or "foundation of peace." The dual form probably refers to the two mountains on which it was built, viz., Zion and Moriah; or, as some suppose, to the two parts of the city, the "upper" and the "lower city." The name Zion (or Sion) appears to have been, like Ariel ("the hearth of God"), a poetical term for Jerusalem

The two mountains Zion and Moriah.
Galatians 4:22 For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the bondmaid and one by the free woman. Galatians 4:23 But whereas the child of the slave woman was born according to the flesh and had an ordinary birth, the son of the free woman was born in fulfillment of the promise. Galatians 4:24 Now all this is an allegory; these [two women] represent two covenants. One covenant originated from Mount Sinai [where the Law was given] and bears [children destined] for slavery; this is Hagar. Galatians 4:25 Now Hagar is (stands for) Mount Sinai in Arabia and she corresponds to and belongs in the same category with the present Jerusalem, for she is in bondage together with her children. Galatians 4:26 But the Jerusalem above (the Messianic kingdom of Christ) is free, and she is our mother. Galatians 4:27 For it is written in the Scriptures, Rejoice, O barren woman, who has not given birth to children; break forth into a joyful shout, you who are not feeling birth pangs, for the desolate woman has many more children than she who has a husband. Galatians 4:28 But we, brethren, are children [not by physical descent, as was Ishmael, but] like Isaac, born in virtue of promise. Galatians 4:29 Yet [just] as at that time the child [of ordinary birth] born according to the flesh despised and persecuted him [who was born remarkably] according to [the promise and the working of] the [Holy] Spirit, so it is now also. Galatians 4:30 But what does the Scripture say? Cast out and send away the slave woman and her son, for never shall the son of the slave woman be heir and share the inheritance with the son of the free woman. Galatians 4:31 So, brethren, we [who are born again] are not children of a slave woman [the natural], but of the free [the supe
atural]. Hebrews 12:22 But rather, you have come to Mount Zion, even to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to countless multitudes of angels in festal gathering, Hebrews 12:23 And to the church (assembly) of the Firstbo
who are registered [as citizens] in heaven, and to the God Who is Judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous (the redeemed in heaven) who have been made perfect,

The parable.
Abram had two sons
One born from the bondwomen -Hagarr
Her descendants will be as the sand of the sear
Her descendants will be born from the flesh, and slavesr
She presents the old covenant, and the law.
She presents Mount Sinai where the law was givenr
She presents the present Jerusalem (the fleshly)
She presents the lower city

One born from the free women and the promise-Sarahr
Her descendants will be as the stars of the heavensr
Her descendants will be born from virtue of the promiser
Her descendants will be born under the new covenantr
She presents the perfect law of liberty of Jesus Christr
She presents the new spiritual Jerusalemr
She presents the upper city

God’s kingdom- God’s City.

Joh
4:23 A time will come, however, indeed it is already here, when the true (genuine) worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth (reality); for the Father is seeking just such people as these as His worshipers. Joh
4:24 God is a Spirit (a spiritual Being) and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (reality).

Can anything be more mysterious than the unseen spirit world? Jesus preached the kingdom of God is at hand... But My kingdom is not from this world, (My kingdom is not a physical kingdom (Fleshly) but a spiritual one) We have to understand, that God’s city and God’s kingdom is a spiritual kingdom and a spiritual city.
Therefore when we get born-again, it is not our physical bodies that get born again, no it is our spirits. Remember we must worship God in spirit, when...? The time is now, 2000 years ago. When we enter into the kingdom of God, we enter into the New Jerusalem; we enter into the spiritual realm. We enter in to the realm where spirits operate, when we cast demons out, we speak to them in the spiritual realm. When we prophesise we see into the spiritual realm, when we operate in the gifts of the Spirit we operate in the spiritual realm... When we heal the sick we don’t use medicine, no we pray and through the Spirit they are healed. John said I was in the spirit on the Lords day...

The kingdom of heaven and the heavenly Jerusalem.

Those whom are born out of flesh seek for fleshly things; those whom are born from the spirit seek spiritual things. Romans 8:5 For those who are according to the flesh and are controlled by its unholy desires; set their minds on and pursue those things which gratify the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit and are controlled by the desires of the Spirit set their minds on and seek those things which gratify the [Holy] Spirit.

I am sure we all understand that when Jesus referred to Himself as the light of this world, He did not try to apply that He is here to replace the physical sun.
Paul refers to our bodies as the temple of the most High God, Jesus claimed that God will never dwell in temples made by human hands, and therefore chose to dwell inside of every living human being. I am sure that Jesus did not claim that He was H2O when He said that He is the living water.

We all are houses and temples of God.
If you are the house of God and all the “Christians” are houses of God... what do you call a group of houses together? A city... “They holy city of God”

If you read in Genesis you will find that God only made the sun on the 4 dayr
Genesis 1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be signs and tokens [of God's provident care], and [to mark] seasons, days, and years, [Gen. 8:22.] Genesis 1:15 And let them be lights in the expanse of the sky to give light upon the earth. And it was so. Genesis 1:16 And God made the two great lights—the greater light (the sun) to rule the day and the lesser light (the moon) to rule the night. He also made the stars. Genesis 1:17 And God set them in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth, Genesis 1:18 To rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good (fitting, pleasant) and He approved it. Genesis 1:19 And there was evening and there was morning, a fourth day.

Only on the fourth day was there a sun... but it was day and it was night the first, second and third day...
Maybe that will explain why we don’t need the sun in the New Jerusalem, because we have the light, Jesus Christ.
We are the bride of Christ, and we are the temple of the highest God, we are the light of this world, and we have ete
al life, and streams of living waters flows out of our bellies. Jesus broke all the curses on the cross, for those who are in Christ there is no more pain, and through His stripes we are healed God lives amongst us, (inside of us) and we are His children and He is our God and Father therefore we live in the New Jerusalem.

In other words the kingdom of God cannot be seen with the naked eye of mortality, but only perceived through the spiritual dimension of immortality.
The reason why mortal man finds it difficult to absorb this subject is the limitation of trying to perceive the world of the unseen (spiritual dimension) only by the five senses of human nature. (Seeing, hearing, feeling, smelling and tasting.) Senses are the physiological methods of perception. The word perception comes from the Latin words perceptio, percipio, and means "receiving, collecting and action of taking possession, apprehension with the mind or senses”. To put it simple -seeing is believing-
When Nicodemus asked Jesus to explain the kingdom of God, Jesus replied:
Joh 3:12 If I tell you things that are plain as the hand before your face and you don't believe me, what use is there in telling you of things you can't see, the things of God?

The Holy City and the Bride

Revelations 21:2 And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, all arrayed like a bride beautified and ado
ed for her husband; Hebrews 12:22 But rather, you have come to Mount Zion, even to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to countless multitudes of angels in festal gathering Matthew 5:14 You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Matthew 5:15 Nor do men light a lamp and put it under a peck measure, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men that they may see your moral excellence and your praiseworthy, noble, and good deeds and recognize and honor and praise and glorify your Father Who is in heaven. The bride Joh
3:28 You yourselves are my witnesses [you personally bear me out] that I stated, I am not the Christ (the Anointed One, the Messiah), but I have [only] been sent before Him [in advance of Him, to be His appointed forerunner, His messenger, His announcer]. [Mal. 3:1.] Joh
3:29 He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the groomsman who stands by and listens to him rejoices greatly and heartily on account of the bridegroom's voice. This then is my pleasure and joy, and it is now complete

God shall dwell with them

Revelations 21:3 Then I heard a mighty voice from the throne and I perceived its distinct words,
saying, See! The abode of God is with men, and He will live (encamp, tent) among them; and they shall be His people, and God shall personally be with them and be their God.
Joh
14:23 Jesus answered, If a person [really] loves Me, he will keep My word [obey My teaching]; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home (abode, special dwelling place) with him.

There will be no death

Revelations 21:4 God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more, neither shall there be anguish (sorrow and mou
ing) nor grief nor pain any more, for the old conditions and the former order of things have passed away Revelations 21:5 And He who is seated on the throne said, See! I make all things new. Also He said, Record this, for these sayings are faithful (accurate, incorruptible, and trustworthy) and true (genuine) Joh
5:24 I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, the person whose ears are open to My words [who listens to My message] and believes and trusts in and clings to and relies on Him Who sent Me has (possesses now) ete
al life. And he does not come into judgment [does not incur sentence of judgment, will not come under condemnation], but he has already passed over out of death into life. Joh
3:36 And he who believes in (has faith in, clings to, relies on) the Son has (now possesses) ete
al life. But whoever disobeys (is unbelieving toward, refuses to trust in, disregards, is not subject to) the Son will never see (experience) life, but [instead] the wrath of God abides on him Joh
6:47 I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, he who believes in Me has (now possesses) ete
al life. Joh
10:28 And I give them ete
al life, and they shall never lose it or perish throughout the ages. [To all ete
ity they shall never by any means be destroyed.] And no one is able to snatch them out of My hand. Matthew 11:28 Come to are, and Me, all you who labor heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.]
Matthew 11:29 Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest (relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls. [Jer. 6:16.] Matthew 11:30 For My yoke is wholesome (useful, good--not harsh, hard, sharp, or pressing, but comfortable, gracious, and pleasant), and My burden is light and easy to be bo
e.

They will never be thirsty again

Revelations 21:6 And He [further] said to me, It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I [Myself] will give water without price from the fountain (springs) of the water of Life Joh
4:14 But whoever takes a drink of the water that I will give him shall never, no never, be thirsty any more. But the water that I will give him shall become a spring of water welling up (flowing, bubbling) [continually] within him unto (into, for) ete
al life. Joh
7:38 He who believes in Me [who cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me] as the Scripture has said, From his innermost being shall flow [continuously] springs and rivers of living water.
Romans 8:1 THEREFORE, [there is] now no condemnation (no adjudging guilty of wrong) for those who are in Christ Jesus, who live [and] walk not after the dictates of the flesh, but after the dictates of the Spirit. Romans 8: For the law of the Spirit of life [which is] in Christ Jesus [the law of our new being] has freed me from the law of sin and of death.

Warm Regards
