The old you CANNOT get what you want in the next level – time to break it all down!

So, as I write this, I am sitting in my hotel room about to take myself off to do some shopping for my princesses and hubby, who I am missing incredibly badly…

Just a little over 48 hours and I will see them again, if all goes to plan and no crazy IStanbul uprising breaks out again…

Anyway, the reaso I am here, in case you do not already know is to reconstruct my body…

It was no longer looking the way I wanted it to and I decided to no longer settle for ‘just enough’!

My boobs have been enlarged and my waist line has been returned to where it was before the advent of the princesses.

And I am pretty pleased with the waistline, not sure yet about the boobs - They are completely alien to me at the moment so we will see…

However this is the thing…

I made a decision to do this…

Like many people, I had been uuuming and aaahring about maybe doing it at some point when… when what?

I was allowed…

I did not feel guilty…

I could spare the money…

I did not feel selfish about spending money in that way…

I did not feel vain…

I felt I deserved it…

I felt depressed enough to explain it away and seek permission from who knows who…

Or whatever!

And those reasons can be as long a list as you allow…

But ultimately, they were all nonsense because I simply had not made a decision…

And then I did.

And literally, within about 4 weeks, I made it all happen.

But this is the thing about an exte al decision like this…

Once you go under the knife, there is no going back…

Whereas internal decisions about whether you are going to teach, speak, coach, heal, inspire like you feel called to do are subject to the whims of your mood…

You can make the decision today and then change your mind again tomorrow…

You can speak with power today and tell people how you can help them with the power of Martin Luther King one minute and then wimp out when someone asks you a question…

Or because you woke up on the wrong side of the bed…

Or because you suddenly think that you are going above your station…

Or that your dreams are too big to create

When you take an exte al decision like I did, that luxury is taken away and how?!

By the physical deconstruction of every part of the offending issues in my body…

And reconstucting it to something more pleasing to me.

And honey, you have to do that!

As a leader, at the moment you are believing nonsense about yourself…

You have given room to flabby beliefs that hold you back…

That keep you looking like every other norm around you…

And leader, you are not a norm!

YOU ARE A LEADER!

Born to change things…

Born to heal…

Born to speak words that transform lives…

Born to coach people to a whole new level…

Born to inspire them to live out the big ideas that they have draowned out in the crazy of every day life…

And you are believing bullshit!

My plastic surgeon took it upon to show me a video of me on the table (I am not sure why!) but it was not pretty seeing the nonsense that had to be cut through in order to reconstruct a more powerful version of me.

And you have to go through the same thing.
