In this article i am going to reveal one key step that anyone can take before starting meditation, be it 5 minutes or 50 minutes that can dramatically improve your results and get you into a higher conciousness immediately and on the fly.

Generational Wisdom

Meditation is highly revered in many cultures. Most of us associate it Buddhism and Hinduism but in reality Jesus and Moses also knew the power of meditation. It's a process not relegated to just any religion. It a contemplative state and builds intrinsic insights that help you see the truth and fully comprehend the nature of life.

How It Works

Regardless of the type of meditation you practice the internal process is still the same. Some of us use mantra and prayer beads to accelerate concentration. Others look to incense and group therapy. It does not matter as long as you stay committed and diligent in your practice. For the sake of simplicity i am going to stick with the most common meditation process - focusing on your breath. This is a time-tested process that easily accelerates focus and concentration. It also helps regulate blood flow and keeps your body in sync. This process in itself carries numerous benefits. Simple but very powerful. When we take a deep breath our body naturally relaxes. It releases endorphins, quells the mind and organizes your thoughts. Our modern life has left most of us in a state of constant flux. We rarely get a chance to relax. In the daily drudgery that is our everyday life we rarely get a chance to truly relax - yet alone breath. Breath is the fundamental connection between the mind and the physical body. A deep fulling breath automatically signals your mind to relax, which in turn relaxes the body. There is a synchronicity that happens here. The mind cannot relax if the body is not relaxed. If we are always running about and never still, trying to relax by telling your mind to do so rarely works. The common adage is to take a deep breath and you will instantly relax. It only works if you're conscious of your body too and bring it to relax. Once the body relaxes, your nervous system automatically calms down which sends a message to your mind to relax. Its a natural process that your mind registers instinctively. The reason many of us struggle to find that harmonious state of relaxation during meditation is because we force relaxation through the mind. The breath is fundamentally a physical aspect. The physical state is in sync with the rest of your body. The next time you are running about, frustrated, rushed, angry or anxious try relaxing your body first. Take a seat, be conscious of your body - your arms, your chest, your stomach and your legs. Feel the blood flowing to all corners of your body, feel it pulsated and energized. This visualization will immediately relax you. Then take a deep breath and you will immediately find yourself find a very relaxed and mindful state. Manifesting. It's one of those words that people are using a lot thanks to the slew of new books, infomercials, and movies that proclaim that nothing is earned and nothing is worked for, rather things "manifest" in one's life - as long as they "ask" or "think" the right things. Want a car? Visualize it. Think about it. Feel it. And then ... *BAM* ... It will "manifest" in your life. How about a million dollars? No problem! Once again, visualize it and feel it, and then ... *P
