One of the 3 keys to being an Enlightened Leader is to master living in your energized Higher-self (the other two keys in the book being Unity and Impeccability). Meaning, find your path to Source and each day, connect in and run your life from this place of wholeness and authentic Energy. This is a putting yourself first idea, to fill your tank, before you go out to assist others. Very similar to when the oxygen masks falls to you on an airplane and parents are instructed to feed yourself first before feeding your children (because if you pass out, you wont be able to help anyone). Each of us needs extraordinary energy to grow and serve and uplift others in this life (level 10 on a 1-10 energy scale so to speak). You can’t share/give what you don’t have. So, filling yourself daily through meditation, yoga, exercise, prayer, nature etc, is mandatory. Not a nice ‘do it when it’s convenient thing’, but the absolute disciplined daily habit foundation for our life. Otherwise, how can you really serve? Can depleted people change the world? Moreover, If we are not centered, inwardly peaceful, strong and getting our energy from the God Source/Earth, Energy practices then by default our Lower self kicks in and we literally unconsciously seek to ‘suck’ energy from other people through 4 control dramas to make up for it. Thus the dramas, bickering, separation we often see in work places. The control dramas are the root of all the problems we see in the world. Higher-self people do not pollute, steal, hurt, oppress, fight, etc. The 4 are: The intimidator, The interrogator, The aloof, the poor me. Read James Redfield’s classic book, The Celestine Prophecy; for a review of these four. Each of these is simply an unconscious pattern we develop to fill up because no one taught us another way. No one taught us the energy way, the sacred way. And when we leave the cocoon of mom and dad at 18, the transition must take place to learn how to create/fill our own energy or the Lower-self will kick in and see all of life and people as an energy competition (security, control, approval), a threat, a game to see who can win. People in their 20s and at all ages are now more energy depleted than ever. Clearly we have lower self world leaders .. how did we let them get there? This energy game ignites more and more Lower-selves and the mad thinking that goes with it. All are exacerbated by all the escalating problems bombarding us (poverty, violence, drug abuse, mal-nutrition, depression and so on). Its time for a change. Hence, I suggest let us all connect in with Source, fill up with energy through key energy practices and rituals each day (noted in paragraph 2 and/or other you resonate with)(and show willing others/your team how to do the same) and then from this joyful fullness go forth to share, teach, develop and serve people/your customers each day. Energy is the key to service. You can make a huge difference. Do it.
