I was leading my twice monthly Law of Attraction Study Group and found myself explaining the Pie Theory of Life. This is pie, like in pizza. Not Pi like in math. Most of us believe in the Pie Theory without even knowing it. It is sort of ingrained in us by our western culture, and it goes something like, "If I have abundance in my life it means I have taken someone else's abundance because there is really only a fixed amount of good to spread among all of us."

This can be visualized as a pizza pie cut into equal slices. If I take more than what is perceived as my share, then the other diners will have to make do with less.

There is also the unspoken implication that if I have "more" I must have done something heinous to acquire it - like lying, cheating or stealing, because no one deserves "more" in a presumed-to-be fair Universe.

What is wrong with this picture? A couple of things. It is based on lack. And it doesn't consider energy or vibration or the way the world really works. It is based on an old, outdated and archaic paradigm that assumes some god or other is handing out goodies to the deserving and withholding them from the undeserving.

And it presumes that energetically, we are all created equal. We are not. We can look around us and see that some of us vibrate wealth and comfort, and some of us vibrate poverty and not-enoughness. (Although we can all change, if we want to.)
Here is what I've come to understand through my study of law of attraction. Are you ready? This is a light bulb moment - you know, when the light bulb goes on in your brain and you have a big AHA! moment?

There is a PIE for EVERYBODY! Yes! Some want cheese. Some want pepperoni. And some want cherry a la mode. There is not just one pie that has to be divvied up among everybody. There is an energetic pie for EACH OF US. And it is as big as we can hold in consciousness! This is big, folks! Big! So you can ask for as much as you want, and as much as you can embody - and the Universe expands to give it to you. The Universe expands according to your desire. Isn't that the most wonderful thing?

The size of our pie has nothing to do with deserving and everything to do with believing.

I've also come to understand that there is no limit to the expansion of the Universe. No limit at all. The limits are only in our own beliefs. So we each get a pie. And the pie is as big or as small as WE think we deserve. No one is making this decision for us. We make the decision how big our pie is! And the size of one man's pie does not affect the size of the next woman's pie. Not at all. The size of your pie is only an effect of your consciousness!

Love it. I'll have a large pepperoni, with a side of unlimited abundance and joy.
