The Power of Eliminating Resistance

Have you heard the saying, "What you resist persists"? Resistance is so powerful it can create an energetic force field literally separating from you from your dreams by pushing away what you'd like to create or attract into your life.

Resistance is defined as "Wanting anything to be different than it actually is." So from your job, kids, partner, and weight, to the economy - wanting anything to be different than it is causes resistance. Resistance is not selective. As you resist what is undesirable you also resist what you desire. So if you're resisting a job you don't like you're also resisting new job opportunities or if you're resisting clutter at home you inadvertently resist what you desire. At its worst, resistance reverses your energy causing accidents, unfortunate circumstances, depression and illness.

I recently heard the saying; "It's a lot easier to ride the horse in the direction it's going." When things are not going how you'd like it's imperative that you accept it in order to gain access to the present moment where all manifestation occurs.

We avoid saying, "Yes" or "O.K." with what is less than or not exactly what we want for fear we'll get more of the same. The opposite is true. When you say "Yes" to what you're experiencing no matter what it is and even love what it is, you dissolve the negative energy associated with it, you set it free, you leave it behind you, and you create space for something new to show up. This doesn't mean you stop dreaming but you do stop comparing what's happening now to your dreams. If you can take it one step further and believe that what you're experiencing now, even if it looks nothing like your dream, is actually essential to your dream you'll take a giant step to attracting what you want.

To the degree you can embrace exactly what is happening at any given moment, you will become powerful in manifesting your dreams and desires. It's this careful cultivation of accepting what is and putting your intention on what you desire that causes transformation and creates miracles. It's amazing what will open up for you from opportunity and synchronicity to peace and love.
