The Power of Focus

Focus, focus, focus! There is power in focus! How many times have we all heard that? I know I've heard that many times in my life. As a creative person, I tend to have so many ideas flowing through me at once that it is difficult to focus on just one thing at a time. Because of this, I've been referred to as being a bit "scattered". Does that sound familiar? There are many times in life where our energy can appear to be scattered....and not only "appear to be" but in fact, truly is. How many of us have obligations in various aspects of our lives? We have obligations at work, at home, in our communities and most importantly, to ourselves. Too much to do and not enough hours in the day to get it all done.

It is the same with wanting our desires to physically manifest. We have launched so many desires and we want them all to come into fruition but when we do our visualizing and affirming, it is important that our energy be focused. I know what you're thinking...."I want more money and excellent health. How can I choose one over the other as they are both important to me?" You make the choice based upon which is more pressing to you. If you're dealing with illness, then perhaps that's more important for you to focus upon right now. If your health is not perfect but not dire and more money is a more pressing issue, then that's your main focus.

Well, what happens if it’s not a situation where something is “pressing”? We all desire change/more based upon what we observe in our day to day lives. So how do we choose what to focus on if everything is equal in our minds? You make the choice by looking into your heart. You get quiet and ask your Inner Goddess/heart/Inner Being for guidance. Trust your answer and place your focus there.
