Wheatgrass contains many minerals, but the ones that are the most important are calcium and phosphorous, that make the bones and teeth strong and protect from osteoporosis, iron and copper, necessary for blood count building, magnesium, potassium and many, many more. The list of wheatgrass nutrients doesn’t end here. One of the most potent ones and certainly one that is present in large quantities is chlorophyll. It is referred to as the concentrated power of the sun or the blood of the plant, since it has a molecule very similar to the protein molecule in our blood -hemoglobin. Chlorophyll can make some people nauseous because it has very strong detoxification properties and helps the tissues release the toxins. Wheatgrass is also rich in amino-acids that are the building blocks of protein, that’s why more and more gym-goers are implementing wheatgrass juice into their diet especially because it has a low calorie count. There are many reasons you should implement wheatgrass into your diet. It has various health benefits; it helps treat various conditions and gives rise to your energy levels, making you feel confident that you can tackle the daily chores easily, all thanks to wheatgrass nutrients.
