The Price of humans by J.L Edwards is a story based on political corruption, difference between rich and poor, how poor people suffer. As the title itself describes us that it is all about the price of life. He shows all this in the novel in a very simple way so that people can follow the same and show little humanism. rnThis novel is about thirty year’s old man George Mogo he is from Jamaica. He grew up in a impoverished environment but he was lucky with his job and he became a wealthy executive. The author has clearly shown how Politian’s they made this boy do all bad things in life. In the age of the children’s going to school they made them do murders, sell drugs, threaten people. Shows how they misuse they power. Chaba a man who lived in the nearby ghetto, who is a man filled of gold makes George differentiate the difference between good and bad. He makes George realize the mistake he has been doing and changes a man with soul. The author has shown things that for friendship there is no one rich and poor. A divine relation between them filled with love, understanding and affection has changed good. This incident the author has shown about Jamaica but this is happening in many part of the world. It is very pity to hear such kind of stories. It actually melts your heart fully the one who is against the political corruption will surely love the book. If someone feels that you would like to change someone who is doing wrong this you may start by gifting them this book. In this J.L Edwards shown a tough life about a young boy the reasons why he became bad, emotions, love, understanding, care and friendship. It has a complete package of drama in this book.
