An executive office suite is a way for a smaller business to have an office suite that is fully equipped and ready to move into. There are no long-term commitments with leases and it is much cheaper to lease the suite, which means savings to businesses that are either struggling or just starting up. It is also beneficial to companies that typically work from home but need to meet with clients in an office setting will rent an executive office suite so that they have a more professional appearance.
Pros of Executive Office Suitesr
The biggest benefit is that executive office suites are flexible, you can lease the space for as long as you need, a week, a month, or however long you need. You can sign the paperwork and move into your new space right away because it is fully furnished and ready to move into. Other pros to suites include:
• You have a receptionist that works for the building services and comes included in the price, they will take messages, bring your mail, and forward calls
• Internet and communications are already installed and ready for you to use
• Access to meeting rooms
• Office suite is fully furnished
• Lease flexibility
• Meet other small business owners in the same office building and can increase networkingr
With all the pros to an executive office suite, you may be thinking that there are no drawbacks to it, but there a few that you should be aware of before you get started or sign any papers. Some of the cons include:
• It's a lease, so nothing in the suite is yours and therefore, you can't decide to rip up the carpet or paint the walls
• Whatever is in the suite is what you get and is chosen by the person that owns the building, if you don't like the furniture, you do not have the option of demanding new furniture
• Conference rooms and any other area of the building that is common is shared, therefore, you cannot just decide you need to use the one conference room in 10 minutes if it is being used by another business
• The receptionist is not your personal receptionist, she works for the building owner and therefore, you can't expect more than what the building or lease states is his or her duties
• Typically, you cannot get a long-term lease because these suites are designed for the short-termr
While executive office suites have become very popular and offer some of the best ways to get an office quickly, it has some drawbacks that would not work for larger businesses. Therefore, use the office suite for what it is, a great way to get into a ready-made office that offers you a professional look with an address, a secretary, and conference rooms to hold meetings. Just realize that as your business grows, you will no doubt outgrow the executive suite and need to make plans to move to a more permanent location.
