Someone has rightly said, “If you continuously compete with others you become bitter.” “But if you continuously complete with yourself you become – better.”rnPeople have indulged so much in comparison and competition that they have forgotten what the purpose of life is. Trapped in the imaginary and perceived happiness we are just wasting the precious life we have. One needs right guidance as there is so much chaos and conflict in everyone’s life. True happiness and peace is found only when an enlightened person awakens one by shaking them from the deep sleep of ignorance by imparting right understanding.rnGnani Purush Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan (Self-Realized One) explains how competition is synonymous to a race course. The race in the race course starts when one enters the race to become number one. While running the race to win, everyone dies panting while the prize is awarded to only one. We have run so hard to be sitting on the top, that all the running of countless lives is considered failure and completely worthless! We have gained nothing but miseries in the process. Instead why not run away from this race course! Let people win the prize, or else they will not be able to sleep at night. When you compete against them, you end up hurting yourself. Instead sit and observe and enjoy. Take it easy. The moment one exits the race course, they attain peace and harmony. If someone is defeated by us, he will harbor jealousy and vengeance. So learn to lose. rnEveryone gets the fruits according to the seeds of their karmas – good or bad deeds of the past life. So, accept whatever comes with equanimity, be happy about other people’s gain and appreciate their good qualities. Then you will bind good karmas for next life. Jealousy and comparison binds bad karmas. If you change your way of thinking, ie: have a positive attitude, the same situation will not make you unhappy. Have an attitude that nobody should get hurt by my mind, body and speech. This is exactly what the Gnani Purush Param Pujya Dadashri, teaches us in a practical and scientific way. Get set on your road to success without competition. : https://www.dadabhagwan.org/path-to-happiness/self-help/competition-in-daily-life/
