In the golf arena, there must be a reason why some beginners can easily performed the perfect golf swing without facing an over the top problem. Additional to that, they also managed to maintain the same flawless swing every single time they hit the ball. These group of people is clearly shows that they understand the technique in curing over the top golf swing or some other problem associated in the golf swing. Knowing the right golf swing technique is crucial in golf game. Without this essential knowledge you will only going to create a disaster in your golf game every single time you play the golf game and you will not able to lower your score. Not to mention achieving single handicap.
You will first need to understand and know what is over the top problem and how does this phenomenon to happen before curing over the top golf swing. Over the top usually happen when you positioned the golf club back too much on the inside swing plane. It is almost like position a scythe swing pattern or sideway in its arc rather than taking the golf club position on a straighter and upright swing arc. As a result in positioning yourself this way, as you performing the backswing, the club head is thrown away from the swing path which produces either a pulled shot to the left and hitting the top of the ball. This problem is very difficult to detect and you will not know how to stop this problem to happen if you continuing the wrong golf swing approach.

Essential Golf Grip
You will need first check your golf grip condition when holding the driver or clubs. Make sure you're not gripping too tight. This is because by gripping too tight will tense up your body muscles which create body stiffness that preventing you from hitting the ball naturally. Make sure out of 10, your grip is firmed at 7 gripping pressure the most.
Addressing Yourself To The Target
This is when your body is in a proper golf swing addressing. Make sure you address yourself straight. Do not hunch your back but rather bend your body from the hip. Always remember to maintain your head level as when you going for the backswing.
The Downswing To The Backswing
Always begin your backswing by taking the club back straight. By maintaining your head level, your left shoulder should be positioned below your chin and at this moment you should have the maximum cork on your backswing. Start the downswing by transferring the weight on to the left side while at the same time do not force for the swing to happen. Let the momentum do it's work. The only thing that you need to do is to guide both hands to follow through the swing.
This 3 principle is very important in curing over the top golf swing problem. It is the fundamental guidance and technique that need to be in grain in your muscle memory.
