The goal of losing the belly fat can have a lot of trial and error because every person is not created equal. Genetics allows each and every one of us to be different than the next person which means that we have different requirements for us to be able to lose weight. Some of us have higher hungry thresholds, while others have more self control.

Regardless of what type of genetics you were put together with, there will always be constants that you can rely on. These constants will build the foundation to your new body as you try to slim down, bulk up, and get that body you have seen advertised on the television and magazines for years.

First and foremost is your nutrition with losing the belly fat. I use the word nutrition because I do not want you to think about the word diet. The reasoning behind this is that most people think that a diet means you have to starve yourself. When you are trying to lose weight, your goal should actually be to eat more. Yes more! Instead of eating 2-3 meals a day, you would eat approximately 5-6 meals a day. This keeps your body’s nutritional levels at more of a constant throughout the day. In turn, your body will start to constantly start burning nutrients and fat as it is always expecting more food to come into the stomach. Keep in mind, this doesn’t mean you can pig out on anything that you want, instead just eat those 5-6 meals as a smaller portion for faster results.

Secondly is using cardio to shed weight. Cardio can range from many activities such as swimming, running, sports, and biking. It is imperative that you figure out what you love to do for cardio in order to be losing the belly fat on your body. If you are like myself, cardio can become boring when you are running on a treadmill all day. So instead find ways to make your cardio fun, maybe you will take a zumba class to burn calories or run with a headset on. Regardless of the method that you choose, it must be done 3-4 times a week.

The last approach is working out. Notice that I mentioned this method last, and it is not because I am saving the best for last. Nutrition is fifty to sixty percent of your success followed by cardio and exercise being close to even. The important fact to keep in mind with exercising you have to do it. We live in a world where long days at work might make us generate excuses so we don’t have to work out. Even if you only work out for 10 minutes because you don’t want to do a full workout, those 10 minutes will be greatly beneficial. Consistency will keep your body alert and tight which will create a higher energy for burning fat to help you in the losing the belly fat process.
