Anyone thinks that negative emotions will do more harm than good. Learn how to turn negative emotions in a good thing.

Change is difficult, and we are used to remaining stuck in our old habits. Surprisingly, some great ideas come from fear. There are two types of emotions that guide our lives:
Negative- fear disgust, anger, envy, shame, guilt, loneliness.
Positive-compassion, love, amazement, kindness, desire, enthusiasm, accomplishment.
All of us, at one time or another in our lives, experience one or more of these feeling. Most of the time, the negative emotions surface, haunting us, draining the positive energy out of us; and still, almost instantly each of us thinks of solutions to escape or avoid these situations, to cool down or just stop the bad feelings.
To compensate for the negative emotions, we create a plan to achieve a positive feeling. If a person loses his or her job, feelings of failure tend to dominate. What will this person normally do? In most cases they will look for a new job, hoping positively that the new job will be better. Or, in some cases, they may brainstorm to open a business. Don't forget, failure often results in success!

So what can you do to make the transition?

Accept your feelings

It is very important to recognize and accept your feelings. We know by now that the past is what makes us who we are, but bad feelings and memories from the past should be filed away properly- so we can move forward.
We retain what we learn from the negative experiences and make use of them in new endeavors.
We avoid making the same mistakes again and again, recognizing that they will only produce the same old results.
An angry person might start managing their feelings by thinking about something beautiful, or meditating; avoiding the presence of people they are angry with, or just ignoring the negative feelings competing for focus inside of them.
A jealous person, for example, can reason that jealousy is a nonsense feeling that just brings them down, and then reflect upon how many times those feelings were wrong.
People who suffer from a self limiting fear or phobia should remember that there are millions of people who are not afraid of what they are afraid. If so many people are not afraid of flying, crowds, driving alone, or spiders, just to name few, then their fear is not well grounded. It is irrational in some way.

What can you do?

For a moment, consider successful people in general. They work harder and longer, they are punctual, always first at work and last to leave. Study them; see what they are doing, try to determine how they are doing what makes them successful. Be like them! Without effort there is no success. People are bombarded with advertising that claim that you can get rich without much effort. It is not true. In order to succeed, you need to put out considerable effort. The results can be extremely rewarding! Start working hard on improving yourself, stop procrastinating; even if you don't believe in God, you can think: “Procrastination it is my worst habit.” Because this what we do, we find reasons to procrastinate and avoid dealing with changes.
Think hard before getting involved in other people's problems – it's easy to get sucked in to an outside, negative influence sometimes. Sure, it's nice to be kind and understanding, but when it is affecting your judgment and your life, sometimes you just have to cut the cord.
Avoid getting involved in any quarrels between others, as well; do not take part, because you may not know the whole story. This is just good policy.

Focusing on positive thoughts and energy is easy to initiate but very difficult to maintain, so we naturally fall back into negative thought patterns. A useful, economic way to work on one's inner thought processes on their own is with the use of subliminal audio tracks, CD's or .mp3 audio files. They are not to be considered a quick fix, but rather an easy to use companion for inner, permanent growth. Choose, plug, play! Convince your subconscious mind to begin working for (instead of against) your efforts.
