Typically, suits are associated with men, but these garments can be very flattering to women as well. Most commonly worn as business attire, suits can look professional yet glamorous at the same time. You'll need to choose the right one for your body, and there are various tips to guide you through the process.

The majority of women’s suits will include Lycra, as this brings the fabric in at the waist and other areas to provide a more feminine shape. Natural fabrics are not so good if you want a fitted look, so be aware of this, as these fabrics may be looser.

The cut is also very important. Women’s suit jackets are generally shorter than men’s. If the suit jacket is too long, it will look very masculine.

There are various other aspects to consider when choosing a suit that shows off your female figure. Unlike the usual black, navy, grey and white suits for men, women can opt for a variety of different tones, including various shades of brown and colours with a tint of pink. You can choose either a wide or skinny lapel to make your outfit a bit different from those of your female colleagues.

If teamed with the right shoes and shirt, a woman's suit can look attractive, stylish and professional at the same time. A pink or lilac shirt can add more colour and interest than a standard white one. You can go for either trousers or a knee-length skirt, depending on your preferences.
