When it comes to web design there are two main options that you need to choose between when talking to your website designer. The first option is a static site, and the second is one, which is flexible with a CMS (Content Management Systems). Either By, the main thought is that how you can manage or update your website with a little less expense with greater return of investment. There are arguments as to why you should go for each, but if you are looking to really make the most of your website, and boost your online conversions, you really should be looking at the inclusion of a CMS. Which one is cheaper and effective? rnA static website does exactly what it says on the tin. It cannot move. Therefore, any images and content that you have on there has to stay unless you have a coder on hand to make the changes for you. It is quite irritating indeed, if you are looking to update a news story for instance. However, if you are looking for something quite simple and do not want to spend a fortune in your website design, a static site is often a good place to start and upgrading to a site with a CMS is always a solution later on down the line where profits from your website can be driven back into the business. rnIf you are serious about growing your business online, however, you really should opt for a website design, which incorporates a Content Management Systems. There are varieties of systems you can choose from, and often website design agencies online, have their own bespoke CMS for you to choose. The costs of websites, which use a CMS to control the content, are often slightly pricier. However, for obvious reasons, there is more work for the designers to do and there are less maintenance fees for them later on down the line with a static site you would probably have to pay them to make any changes you needed. rnDo not be confuse and get the facts straight. Content Management System entails a big investment at first, though you can get the following maintenance and operational expenses in a small price compare to the latter. Yes, static website is a lot cheap compare to CMS in the beginning, but in doing business online, you need to have a constant updates of products and services discount, promos and campaign. Static makes you hire a coder to apply changes to you website. While, in the CMS, a little tweaks and you are done. Unless you have got an on-side web designer a CMS is really the only way forward. rnThere are businesses for which a CMS is not an option but a requisite. For example if you are looking to build an ecommerce website. Your products or services will most likely fluctuate, you are constantly going to post new ones and take old ones down as the trends, and fads of consumers change over time. rnWith this in mind, CMS has really the advantage in making your web design operational. Nevertheless, the decision is up to you. As a beginner, you can dwell in static at first and experience online business in a cheaper start and as you get your hands on some of the functionalities. Hence, you can shift to CMS as you wish.
