Hypnosis and subliminal messages are designed to talk directly to the subconscious mind, planting seeds of success while overriding older, negative beliefs. In many cases we might not even be aware of our inner belief system! There are subtle signs that you can learn to read in order to evaluate your unconscious beliefs, such as body language and sudden emotion. Maybe this is why psychology professionals are constantly asking "How does that make you feel?" Plus, they are trained to listen to the subconscious to get the truth and understand you better. They evaluate, plan, and then attempt to communicate with the inner self to bring about positive progress. Whether initiated by a pro or the self, a huge portion of successful change can be attributed to the power of suggestion. It's a fascinating subject to explore; a Google search for 'power of suggestion' returns over fifty-seven million hits. Near the top of the list is a great, short article from Dr. Charles E. Henderson about the placebo effect that is quite disturbing in a way; disturbing, because of its ring of truth and its implications. Evidently millions are being sold serious pharmaceuticals unnecessarily. We taxpayers are even footing part of the bill, as well! The following quote from the article More Scientific Proof of the Power of Suggestion wraps it up nicely: The effectiveness of suggestion has been demonstrated over and over again in every field of medicine and human behavior. In fact, in practically every instance of research on drugs with humans, suggestion has been proven effective, In many cases it was more effective than the pharmaceutical being tested! — Henderson, Self Hypnosis for the Life You Want, p. 170 The placebo effect is so widely recognized that good research actually requires its use. So, how can we use it as a tool to help us achieve our goals? We can't just take a sugar pill and say "This is a magic cure-all" because we know it not to be the case. What the unconscious does believe in are suggestions. Subtle hints are more powerful than attempts at force. You cannot force the subconscious mind to believe a thing that it resists without understanding what's going on in there first. But luckily, there are ways of planting seeds of success via this inside-out method - the POWER OF SUGGESTION. Similar to the way a red and white flashing sign gets your attention, certain messages are more readily accepted by the subconscious mind than others - such as (again,) carefully worded affirmations, music or imminent danger. Additionally, some brainwave states are more friendly to suggestions than others; hence, we humans have developed technologies to allow access to the subconscious mind. We feel good when we're in control of our own destinies (or in control, period), and what better way to become more confident and relaxed than treating the source rather than symptoms? In the case of self-help audio, we combine sounds and frequencies to help the subject achieve the desired suggestible brain state, then we pass along messages to the inner self. Each of us is constantly conducting an inner dialogs that ultimately betrays (shows) itself in our behavior, performance and happiness factor. We can thank technology and the power of suggestion - for allowing us to deliberately improve our skills, behavior, habits and levels of satisfaction in our lives. Sometimes we have to 'pretend' to care about a subject in order to learn a necessary process or discipline (as students know), so inner dialogs can really make or break our success in many areas. The Power of Suggestion can be used by anyone with a problem or goal; salesperson, athlete, addict, worker or boss, you can enhance your existence by recognizing ways of thinking positively and being creative. Identify where you are, where you'd like to be - and then act, with a sub-plan that's aimed at the next level in your big picture. A quick scan of Sprudio audio titles might give you an idea of where you might want to start or continue the journey! Of course you don't have to choose us or our products, but the downloads and CDs offered here can surely provide the biggest bang for your bucks! Lastly, I'd like to thank our many repeat customers once again for taking my previous subliminal (kidding) message to build a diverse audio library at home, to heart. We're really getting some amazing feedback these days, and it feels good.
