The Tree/ The Shadows Are Gone

The Shadows are gonern rnOnce upon a time there lived a tree. In fact,it was a very large tree that looked strong and appeared to stand firmly within the ground. It boasted it’s tree trunk with several connected branches, some of which seemed to be reaching out toward the sky. These branches responded to their environment, as they naturally would… and humbly yielded to the natural cycles of nature, going through the seasons of Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall…. always led by mystical powers that lie within the unseen world. It was the laws of nature that dictated just what the tree would do from the moment it’s life first began…. and all throughout it’s journey while here on earth. Nature patterned its many beauties as the seasons would show, as well as guide it during times of cycles for change……. all in its own time. So what would transform such a marvel in nature? Its time was marked by perceptions of energy change as all things are…… representing a moment to just reflect……to recognize nature’s tapestry and embrace the landscape. Its blueprint was already encoded in the very beginning through the eyes of God…. and so in the end, it didn’t matter what I or anyone else thought! The tree had much to share when it was alive and well. It provided shelter, shade from the sun and offered the snowflakes a stage to glisten and dance on. There were moments of peace and joy, as the birds would agree….. an inner connection to all that is divinely inspired….. yet at times much sadness too. Then one day….. after many seasons of harsh stormy weather, the tree had weakened a great deal, was shuffled and shaken to it’s inner core. Its vitality was gone.. …. Feeling neglected and no longer able to receive nourishment from the ground… as the branches became stooped so that nearly anything would topple them down. And it did…. The sensitivities and vulnerabilities of the tree were then soon to be known….. An unusual and unforeseen Halloween snow, with wind and cold would make the fate of that tree a reality, the tree that had once stood up tall. It no longer had the ability to withstand the powers that had created it in the first place. It had weathered so many cold winters as the years came and went….. and without known reason, it was this snow that took hold. The tree would no longer grow wildly, as it oftentimes did. The tree would no longer block the light that was always there…. perching high in the sky up above. For now the light would fill the open space that was once filled up by the tree. Its energy would transform itself and the shadows of the tree are now gone. We know that shadows serve many purposes, speak in different ways and know when they’ve done their work on time. The light has become more bright and I am able to see the wide, vast, ethereal sky. I can feel the gentle warmth from the sun. I can see the other trees that have survived the storm. They are still there. Most of all, I feel humbled by the forces of nature that are always all around me. I am respectful and honor her ways. I observe with a sense of stillness, with incredibly awe, with shock and disbelief at the powers beyond my knowing…… and….. with the eyes of a child i know how to create from nothing. I have learned through many of my lessons that I don’t need to react to this at all. I am myself and can feel the peace no matter what occurs outside…. I know that the wisdom of the universe is aligned only with truth… and that all is unfolding in the most beneficial way, as it will. For the fate of Life and death are in much greater hands…… that work magic in ways that can’t always been seen, as this tree has shown me to be so true. Yet with all that was said and done………its amazing that not even the tree itself can tell us much about it.
