The Triangle Tour of India involves main cities like Jaipur, Agra and Delhi. The triangle tour is commonly known as the ‘Golden Triangle Tour’. As the name suggests it includes city to its tour which have golden historical and cultural background. These cities have rich historical roots probably that is the reason the trip to these cultural cities is named as the famous Golden Triangle Tour.

Jaipur is the capital city of Rajasthan which is known as the royal Indian state. Visiting Jaipur through Golden Triangle Tour is one of the trips which is most enjoyed and cherished among other North Indian places. Jaipur is popularly known as the pink city because all the buildings and houses in the royal city of Rajasthan are made of pink stone. Jaipur is the city which famous for its forts and beautiful palaces. Some of the most astounding forts, palaces and temples include Nahargaah Fort, Jaigarh Fort, Amber Fort, Birla Mandir, Jantar Mantar, Sheesh Mahal, Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Jal Mahal, Lakshmi Narayan Temple etc. are worth visiting. There is the Albert Hall Museum which equally worth seeing along with the above mentioned places. There is popular village resort named Chokhi Dhani which is famous for its hospitality and cultural events. The food served in the Chokhi Dhani resort gives your taste buds the perfect experience of royal Rajasthani cuisine. Jaipur city is known for its rich culture and traditions followed by its people.

Another favourite tourist destination of Golden Triangle Tour is Agra. Agra, the city of nawabs which was once the capital of India during the rule of Mughal kings, is now a city in Uttar Pradesh. Agra is a city which is recognised for its world heritage sites like Taj Mahal, Fatehpur Sikri and Red Fort. Taj Mahal which is known for its Indian, Persian and Turkish style of Mughal architecture is among the beautiful Seven Wonders of the World. Taj Mahal is familiar for its lovely carvings done on the white marble transported from Rajasthan to Agra and the precious stones which were once studded on the beautiful carvings done on the marble. Taj Mahal is a burial place which was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan after her dearest wife Mumtaj Mahal died while delivering their fourteenth daughter. There are several myths and beliefs attached to Taj Mahal. The other sites like Fatehpur Sikri and Red Fort including Taj Mahal are declared by UNESCO as the world heritage sites and is a must see for every traveller coming to India.

The Golden Triangle Tour includes the capital of India. The Indian city of Delhi is located on the river banks of Yamuna. It is the head office for all the political affairs. The city of Delhi has many buildings of importance both political and historical. Some of the political and historical building involves- Rashtrapati Bhavan, Parliament House, Supreme Court, Humayun’s Tomb, Red Fort, Birla Mandir, Jantar Mantar, Akshardham Temple etc. There are other places for shopping and food like Lajpat Market, Sarojni Market, Janpath, Kamla Nagar Market, Cannaught Place, Chawri Bazaar, Karol Bagh, Chandni Chawk and Delhi Haat.
