"looking for love in all the wrong places" and that is something I'd like to have a conversation about in this article.
I have had moments in my life where I have been searching for love. As a child seeking love from my parents and siblings; as a young adult searching for love and approval from my friends; as a teen looking for a boy to love me; as an adult looking for love in the world.
I met someone about 4 years ago and we had an interesting conversation. I had just taken some courses through Landmark Education, and I was exploring/digesting the concept of the stories that go on in our lives. How something happens and then our brains and ego take creative license and make a simple incident "mean" that someone is out to get me, or that someone is doing that action just to make me angry.
In that conversation, she shared how she loved herself, and fundamentally, that was what she felt was most important. I didn't get it. I couldn't get it with the perspective I was living my life from.
Well, I've done a lot of learning, probing and shifting since then and now I get it. And this is what I want to share with you. You see, love is an inside job. When you are able to love yourself, you are able to see more of the love that surrounds you. The more you love yourself, the more you are able to love the life that surrounds you and the more that is radiated back at you.
Everything is love to varying degrees. Some things it is very easy to see at a glance that it is truly love, like when you look at a flower. Other things are love too, and play a role in unfolding more and more love in the universe, but it's harder to see the love in those instances, like war and an oil spill in the ocean. The love in those cases are not about loving war, or loving the impact an oil spill has on our planet, but the events are catalysts for change.
The truth about love is that it is in everything, everywhere, all the time. You just need to be tuned in to see it.
The truth about love is that you are nothing but love, and when you can forgive yourself for any moment to act in a manner that is not love, then you take yourself to a new level of loving. You have to go through the stages of commitment to unconditional love for yourself, so you can get to that place of acceptance with others.
The truth about love is that there is no other force more powerful in the world than love to shift the possibilities in your life into the direction of where you want to go. Consider people with an illness that think positively about their outcome- how do they fair in their recovery to those who are worried or panicked over their health.
The truth about love is that it is the ambassador of peace. If you truly want more peace in the world there needs to be more love. As Jimi Hendrix said
"When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace"
So if you are seeking peace within, the journey begins with love. And if you are seeking peace in the world, then take the journey to discover inner peace and spread that love and peace into the world.
The truth about love is there is only love. xo

What does it mean to be selfless, and how can someone become more selfless in life?
According to the spiritual science of Akram Vignan, the meaning of âselflessâ is to live oneâs life for the sole purpose of serving others, by whatever means one can and according to oneâs skill set and ability; and to do so without expecting anything whatsoever in return. Param Pujya Dadashri, the founder of Akram Vignan, makes us understand how every living beingâs life should be, through an illustration of the tree: âDo any of the fruit trees eat their own frui

How to Donate?
Worrying that your money will be used up cannot preoccupy you. Whatever money is spent is fine. The spending of money is encouraged because it destroys your greed and allows you to keep giving. Marriageâs Market of Pride
Mayankbhai's son's wedding was being celebrated with pomp and splendour. As Ashokbhai and his wife Kantaben got down of the taxi, they were awe-struck. Mayankbhai's farm house was lavishly decorated.
