However, the beauty of the garden totally worth the work that it requires, especially if you adore these fragile creatures. The greatest fact regarding the butterfly garden is that once you attract a few butterflies, there will be more and more, all flying around your wonderful park. Follow the tips in order to plan a unique butterfly garden! The first thing you should know is that butterflies are attracted to a garden depending on the flowers you have there, since they seek for their favorite nectar. Although each butterfly loves different nectar, there are specific flowers that are known to attract most butterflies. And after all, the more butterfly species will visit your garden, the better, right? When planting the flowers, you will have to remember that flowers in group will attract better the butterflies than those planted individually. The flowers that will attract the most butterflies are: butterfly weed, butterfly bush, hibiscus, daylilies, verbena, aster, purple coneflower, rosemary and so on. After taking care of the plantation of these flowers, the next thing you have to think about is the larvae. The butterfly female lays her eggs in a sunny spots, this way it’s preferable to leave open areas to allow them to sum themselves, but you don’t have to neglect the partly shady spots neither, because this will be the place where the larvae will go in case of strong sun or rainy day. Some caterpillars eat excessively much foliage of a plant and this is ruining the image of the plants. The solution for this issue is to simply place the caterpillars in another place. Even if some caterpillar’s hair doesn’t sting, it’s safer if you wear gloves while placing them in another place. These advices are enough for the start of a butterfly yard. When you consider that you already control this art at this level, you can advance and grow by yourself caterpillars. But until this, good luck with planning the most stunning butterfly yard!
