(Christianity is not just a religion; it is a way of life. A full-fledged Christian does not only live by the book, but is living it by heart. For Christians in high school, proper Christian Education is necessary for us to be molded into better people. Christian Education will help us to strive to be Christ-like in every way possible. This way, we can truly say we are Christ’s disciples. But the knowledge and wisdom we get does not exempt us from trials and problems; it does not immunize us from temptation.

Overcoming Problems and Trials

As human beings, it is normal to encounter problems and trials. These are necessary to test our faith and build strength. Sometimes, trials seem to be so hard and we tend to questio
God’s presence. It is written in Bible history that God allows and uses problems and trials to test his people. James said,

“Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing." "Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised to those who love Him." - James 1:2-4, 12

What to Do When No One Understands

As we encounter trials, we tend to seek comfort and guidance. As people, we want to talk to a physical being, someone who would listen to us. We often seek the presence of family and friends who we believe would truly understand us. But there are times when we feel that no one seems to understand and truly listen to us; times when we forget to call on to the Lord.

We cannot see God, but he is with us in many ways. We cannot audibly hear His words, but he speaks to us through the Bible. In times of trials, it is best to seek guidance and strength from the Bible and through prayer. The Bible is the handbook of life; God’s words are in this holy book. As Christians, it is important to remember and educate ourselves that the Bible in not just a book where the history of our Christian faith is written, but it is also a means of communication with God. Through the Bible, God also reassures us of His grace, His promises to help in times of need, and who we are in His eyes.

God speaks to us through the Bible. Whatever trial it is that you are facing, the bible will guide you through it.

During moments of depression, the Bible says, “The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged" (Deuteronomy 31:8).

When lost and in need of guidance, the Bible says, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6).

In times of restlessness, the Bible says, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your

requests to God. And the peace of“(Philippians 4:6-7).

When temptation fills you, the Bible says, "Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way" (Psalm 139:23-24).

In trying times, seek guidance from the Bible, and remember, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13).

Christian education in private schools is a life-long process; not something we learn in a short span of time. It is a continuing journey to be the best we ought to be. The Bible is the world's greatest guide to help through the journey.)
