The Amazing Secret That’ll Help You Achieve Anything You Want in Life

Well the winter Olympics are just around the corner. What an exciting time! I enjoy watching the Olympics because I like watching these athletes compete for the most coveted prize of all, the gold medal! This is the award that these athletes work so hard to attain, and I can tell you that everyone who reaches their dream at this event has followed the 6 secrets to success!

Just ask any of them what they did to arrive at the Olympics and they’ll tell you! Maybe they won’t use the same terms as I use, but definitely with the same meaning, and the same results. (Example: I use the term “taking action” but the Olympian might say “lots of hard work”)
With that said, believing in your self is probably the most critical secret that the Olympian has to follow. Just imagine, having to wake up early in the morning to train, then going to work because Olympians are “amateurs” here in Canada, then going to the gym for strength training and finally going to bed. And let’s not forget eating right and learning different strategies to become better. And not just for a few days but for a few years, every single day until the Olympics! Talk about commitment. This is what I call sacrifice!

Now you might not have to work as hard as them to achieve the goal you set for yourself, but the problems these athletes encounter might still happen to you. I’m pretty sure that these athletes get discouraged from time to time. After all, they’re human just like the rest of us. So believing in themselves is probably a big factor that keeps them going. Now I’m not talking about dreaming and saying “I can do this”; I mean really believing! Believing so much that you feel it in your skin, when you have goose bumps all over your body. This is such a big and incredible feeling that you know you’re going to succeed! A change on the outside starts with a change from the inside.

Believing in you is hard to do when you’re on the road to success, but the good things in life are always the hardest to do. It’s usually the last thing that comes into play, when I refer to the 6 secrets to success, (more information on the 6 secrets to success on this site www.cheerstothegoodlife.com) after taking action, setting goals, imitating successful people, changing the way you think and learning. It’s the faith you have in yourself that makes or breaks you when you feel down on your luck. Basically, if you don’t believe, you are not going to succeed! Keep believing in yourself. Look at it this way, Henry Ford didn’t build his first car on his first attempt. How many times do you think he had to go back to the drawing board to improve this or that before he finally built his American dream? Now ask yourself what would have happened if he scrapped his plans when things didn’t work out the first time!

All in all, it’s hard to explain the feeling but when that time comes, you know you have a decision to make. And that decision is simple. Either you believe so much that you’ll succeed and you continue or you don’t believe enough and you quit. Believing is what determines who is going to be successful and those who will complain the rest of their lives.

Olympians are BELIEVERS!

Now obviously there can only be one gold medal winner per event per Olympics. So even if the person comes in last place in their event they are still way ahead of the rest of the world. And what sets them apart is the belief they have in themselves!
