The Opposite Empowerment

Until we break out of thinking that it's a random world or that luck might just happen… until we recognize and accept cause and effect, that "if it's to be it's up to me" … until we realize that the unseen and the seen worlds react identically, then we can't harness our power. That's why I mention it early in the preface and introduction for The NEW Think and Grow Rich.

And then the Law of Vibration, too-now, this brings in a whole lot of other things, like duality, change, seasons. But basically, so often the point of view that can empower a person is the opposite of what you expect: vibration, duality.

For instance, you may be familiar with the story of W. Mitchell in Tony Robbins' book Unlimited Power. The guy has a motorcycle accident, and 65% to three-quarters of his body is burned. It's excruciating to breathe. And if that wasn't enough, while he was healing, he had an airplane accident and became a paraplegic.

Now, if anybody ever had the concrete ability to feel sorry for himself, and to get government aid, and to live out the rest of his days in anonymity, that man did. However, it's the Christopher Reeve story all over again. That man chose a change of vibration, duality, an active embracing of a different thought.

And that thought was not, "Why did this happen to me?" That thought was, "This happened to me, and I'm going to use it to make the world a better place!"
