I don't own a scale. I never have. I have been lucky in life in that I haven't had to deal with weight issues, until recently. Last year, due to stress and anxiety, I began to lose weight without trying and people close to me grew worried that I was becoming anorexic or bulemic.

I laughed at their concern, not being able to see how truly toxic I had become. When I finally started to see how thi
I really was, I started to frantically put some weight back on. I succeeded in doing just that but neglected to stop. I've beaten myself up over the last few months since I weigh more now tha

I did when I was pregnant with my son.

Talking with a very wise woman recently, I learned her secret to staying thin. She claims that if I limit mealtimes to the daytime, I will not have an issue with my weight. I've been such a night owl these last few years that I hadn't realized how late night snacking was negatively affecting my health and causing major sleep problems.

The Sunset diet is simple. One simply refrains from eating after the sun sets each night. At first, I wasn't able to stick with this plan but after a few weeks of maintaining the rule, I could tell that it was having a positive effect on me AND, the bonus to the whole program is that I've been getting much more sleep than ever before. Sure, there are nights and mornings when I wake up and have trouble getting back to sleep, but overall, I'm more rested, less stressed and I've noticed that my pants aren't as tight as they were a month ago. I'm really focusing on sticking with this new routine now that I've seen the results, so far.

Summer is coming up and I want to be able to hit the beach looking as good as I feel. They're definitely related, feeling good and looking good so I encourage you to do what feels good, naturally. Whether it's yoga, running, weight-lifting or biking, feeling good is a win-win for your health, self-esteem and your energy levels.
