The Transformation from City High Flyer to On-Line Gambler rnCould this possibly be the headline of the future? Will we see more and more redundant city bankers turning to a new and highly profitable means to make a living? Possibly. After all they are gamblers at heart, admittedly with other peoples money and not theirs, but gamblers just the same. All they have to do is take the bull by the horns, or horse by the tail, and invest some of their last year’s bonus betting on the horses. Not having ever been in the situation to get a bonus for work done, I do not know the tax implications involved. But I do know that the winnings I make are completely tax free. The money I make is only taxable when it starts to earn interest or income. The answer is to bury it in the garden in a biscuit tin!! This is not so stupid as it sounds. For example,a very good friend of mine who had invested £50,000 in a small pension fund three years ago, has recently been advised that this is now worth only £28,000. Through no fault of his own he has ‘lost’ £22,000. If he had buried it in the garden, or put in under the bed, even allowing for inflation, it would be worth more than £40,000!!! NO CONTEST!! I am not anti bank, I do have accounts with several, but I do not think that they should not be allowed to get away with half of the things that they do. I, because of my ‘profession’, have to be able to get my hands on large sums of money, quickly. The mobile phone, computer and a bank account are essential to my business. In fact they are, quite probably, the only things that are necessary to a full-time punter, except the ability to pick a winner. I am certain that an ex-City man (or woman) would understand that. This makes the transformation so much easier. If they remember to follow the basic rules, as laid down in my booklet, then I am sure that they will be on their way to a new fortune. Roger Kirkham, who started the Universal Betting Systems website, is in many ways just a very average person like most of us. Roger has spent the last 30 years doing pretty much what he wanted to do, and that is playing golf, going to the races, and to many major sporting events.
