There Are Still Jobs, But The Good Jobs Of The Past Are Gone. There Is Another Option Though!

Unemployment throughout the world is high, particularly in the developed countries of the west. The United States for instance is somewhere in the neighborhood of at least 11%.

The mainstream media will tell you that the economy is on an upswing and that unemployment is dropping. They project some degree of recovery in the first quarter of 2012. Don't believe it! This country is carrying 15 trillion in debt. The long term recovery is just a mirage. Do not think me to be negative, pessimistic or fatalistic but instead realistic. History is just repeating itself. Tough times are coming!

Workers get very discouraged when they cannot land work in their field of expertise. Some out of sheer necessity switch to a different type of work and take a pay cut. Others are not willing to make the adjustment to another career. Still others are not willing to take a wage cut to take an available job. The service sector employment at gas stations, Dunkin Donuts, Macdonalds, Burger King and Wendy's are still plentiful. These are minimum wage jobs and the individual has to question their degree of hardship and whether they want to humble themselves to work one of these jobs. There is also an economic safety net called state Medicaid that will provide for a person if they are in dire need.

Are there any other options?
I have long been intrigued with producing a sustainable income from my own home utilizing the power of the internet. It is NOT something that is done ove
ight but most certainly is obtainable and achievable with the right guidance. The internet is a double edged sword. It has a wonderful abundance of great information but has equally as much disinformation on every conceivable topic. There are a myriad of promises on the net for better health and wealth but the vast majority are not interested in the customer but in their money.

I have found something that really does pay if I am willing to work. Companies really will pay me for work that I can do at my house. I can work from home with my own style and my own pace. Do keep in mind that if I work a little, I get paid little but if I spend long hours I will be compensated well. It's like anything else. You get out what you put in. Isn't it really nice to know that there is hope when maybe you thought there was no hope? I know what it is like to hurt and maybe I can be a factor in lifting you back up onto your financial feet!

Consider that every sector of society, including large multinational corporations, utilize the internet to conduct their business. The individual should be able to do the same. I am continuing to build my internet based income while living in the US. At some point I will start to take extended vacations outside of this country. Who knows. Maybe I will make a permanent move! The point is that as I make it my goal to build my portable income, I will no longer be bound to one locality to earn a living. Hopefully these thoughts will inspire others to do the same!
